I usually don't complain about stuff, but im beyond frustrated by a condo that is being built by my house. The traffic by that intersection has become unbearable because they've closed down a lane to give room for the crap that they're doing. Traffic literally piles up constantly. Going around it takes just as long because there are no back streets you can take. I know the construction is by permit and legit, but I want to complain
Square One parking spot in front of Sheridan.
Question is in the title. Was just wondering if I call 311 or the police? This is flipping ridiculous.
There was a break-in attempt at the house across from mine. My elderly neighbor was watching TV when someone tried to force their way in. Thankfully, they fled as soon as they realized he was home.
It happened around 11:40 PM, and I noticed there was no car in the driveway, which might have made the intruder think no one was there. There’s been a heavy police presence for the last three hours.
This isn’t the first incident on our street; there was another break-in a month ago where several electronics were stolen.
I’m really shaken up. I know Mississauga has its share of crime, but this feels too close to home.
Another neighbour claims our street might be being watched to see who lives alone or isn’t home so these robberies take place.
Picked it up on the sidewalk earlier today, no one seemed to be looking for it if it was theirs. Know it's not difficult to replace, but it's a newer-dated card so I'm assuming the owner has balance on it they actually want to use.
It seems to be tied to a presto account/email, so if whoever lost it finds this, PM me the card number as it shows when you log in with email/password, and I'll match it against what this one says. Since it was dropped in the area, should be easy to organize handing it back to you
Lost my wallet this afternoon in Queen West, dropped from my coat pocket after crossing the street to a CIBC ATM machine when I realized it was missing, just a couple minutes before I had just used my debit card at FreshcoI to make some last minute purchases so I went back to the checkout clerk, she referred me to another staff member who immediately went and checked their cameras and determined that I had indeed put the wallet back in my pocket so I figured that it likely dropped out crossing the street to the CIBC. Immediately locked my credit and debit cards and went back one last time for another search of the area, nothing was found and had lost all hope. Les than 2 hours later my wife calls to let me know that a police officer had come to the house with the lost wallet and advised that an uber driver had found it and turned it in to Peel Police in Mississauga, wallet was intact with cards and some cash, unfortunately the driver didn’t leave his contact info, I’m very grateful, its a 40 min drive to Mississauga west from Queen West.
Big shout out to the Uber driver, Freshco, and Peel Police, thank you very much and I’ll pay this forward you made my day.
What do you do with left over candies from Halloween?
I'm looking for a Day Spa that's Queer Friendly. There are a lot of spas that cater to women and some have Him&Her packages but I'm looking for a place where trans men and women would feel comfortable and not judged. Any recommendations in the Mississauga area would be greatly appreciated.
haven’t seen them in any smoke shops but i don’t really frequent them much

In the MVB area, closer to Bloor, did anyone get two old guys come to their door? One looked to be in his late 60s, while the other in his 40s. One dressed as the pope and the other as a cow. They come pretty late, usually one of the last ones before the lights are out. This is not the first year I have had these guys come to my door.
Usually there will be some moms or dads who bring their own bags and are collecting candy along side their kids, which is also embarrassing. But these guys are always on their own.
In the city centre area, there were LOTS of parents driving to take their kids trick or treating. The roads were a mess, cars double-parked, parents grabbing excited kids from running into the street. I believe most families were from nearby condos, and the parents were driving from outside their immediate neighbourhood to participate. My own building has a party for the kids, but I was shocked at the mayhem on the roads - it was an accident waiting to happen. Your thoughts?
If you’re the owner of this cat, you might want to reconsider letting it outside when it’s dark.
If this is your cat and it’s missing, DM me and I can tell you where I saw it.

Any thoughts on this elementary school in Mississauga? Located at colonial drive.
Thanks!
Where do you all usually shop for south Asian groceries?
The sales office was put up in 2017 and construction started in July 2019 and is still only partially finished. Seems that hardly any work is being done on it over the recent months. Being built by Hazelton Developments at 4070 Dixie Road across from Rockwood Mall.
Edit: revised the construction start date after checking my photos.
Hi,
We're parents to a 1 yr old and want to get first aid and/or CPR training around holidays. What place would you suggest in Mississauga? Would we need both First Aid and CPR?
Thanks in advance.
