Pixel 9 Restock

Any chance the pixel 9 gets restocked with the same offer for Cyber Monday?

Is the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Compatible with Mint Mobile?

I've checked the compatibility checker on the Mint Mobile site, and read a few Reddit posts - both confuse me. I've also tried to call Mint Mobile to talk to a person - didn't get one - and still no answer to my question: "Is the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE model (unlocked) compatible with Mint Mobile Service?" Any help would be appreciated. I want to purchase one as a gift for an existing customer using an Apple phone.

Family of 4 considering switching to Mint Mobile

Hi all - I am a family of 4. I have ATT now, unlimited data and paying off phones. My phone bill is outrageous- around $450/month. My kids will be in college next year, one is in college now in Colorado and the twins will start in Massachusetts in August, so I am trying to find ways to save money. Any input about how families have used Mint would be greatly appreciated!

  • Do all phones needs to be fully paid off?
  • Do plans include hotspots? Are they reliable?
  • I travel domestically for work often, will hotspots work?
  • We usually travel internationally in August- what are the international plans like? Do hotspots work internationally?
  • What other considerations should I take into account as a family?

When will the current promotion of $15/month unlimited end?

I'm considering switching to mint mobile from Xfinity mobile. I saw there's a black Friday deal going on. Will it run through the Cyber Monday week (first week of Dec) or will it end on 12/2?

I need to fight some $100 ridiculous charges with Xfinity mobile due to international travel in the next few days, but don't want to miss mint's black Friday deal of $15 unlimited.

Appreciate your input!

Minternational Question

I am about to embark on a 12 day cruise. There will be 5 ports of call. All 5 ports show to be good with Minternational Pass.

My question: Will a 10 day pass work in all ports or do I need a 1 day pass for each port?

New customer... Maybe

I'm with Verizon right now and pay $95 for hotspot, unlimited data, and hulu. I owe $199 on my phone and then I'll own it but it's an older ultra 22 so I'd like to upgrade. Does mint have deals on phones or do I buy outright for $1000 and just save $50 a month. It would take me 24 months to realize the savings. Just trying to understand what the customer experience is like with this. Thanks!

Strange prompt when buying minternational pass

I'm trying to buy a 10 day pass, and what looks like an incomplete prompt appears. I don't understand the choices (current unlimited plan ends in Feb 2025) and how they relate to a minternational pass. Is anyone getting the same prompt?

Is it possible to get a refund

So currently I am on a 3 month unlimited plan I activated and just started it a few days ago. I decied for the next one I wanted to load up another 12 month plan. The issue is I tried using PayPal to pay it and I selected the correct card I wanted to use it for some reason paypal charged another card I didn't want to be used. And I want to cancel it so the correct card is charged instead. I canceled the plan as soon as I bought it. Is it possible to get a refund if you accidently buy a plan you have yet to use if so how do I do that?

So in other words is it possible to cancel and get refunded for a prepaid plan?

In case if anyone still confused about Pixel being Unlocked

Received this beauty exactly after 60 days. Refreshing to see a carrier not pulling a stunt and respecting consumer promo. Got it 50% off 2 months ago. Respect Ryan! ☺️

P.S: Phone need not be used with the sim for the 60 days. You can activate and move your plan to a different device right away ( for anyone who is planning to get this for say a gift, which was my case ).

Update on $5/30 day Minternational Pass??

I only need service for verification codes. The current options are horrible. There's no way I'm paying $60 for 30 days when I only need <5 GB! With three 10-day passes I'll have 30 GB ;-;

Minternational Plan not allowing calls or texts in New Zealand

My husband and I just arrived in New Zealand and activated our Minternational plans. The data works (I had to update my APN for it to work) but we can't place calls or send texts. When I try to make a call, a message says "voice calls cannot be made by this number".

I am seeing that others have had this problem in the past, but can't find any solution, if one exists. I can't even call Mint support and the chat bot is of no help. Is there any way to get calls to work, or did we waste our money??

How do I transfer my number? The website is confusing me.

So I sign up for the new customer 3 month plan.

Then it asks "tired of price increas blah blah, transfer your number and something about a second acount"

This is the only text I see anywhere about transferring a number but I don't want 2 accounts

I proceeded to checkout anyway to look and I have the options to finalize payment but I don't see anything about transferring number.

I don't want to mess this up, what do I do?

New phone from Mint 45 day question

I'm getting a new Pixel phone on the $299 offer. I'm going to receive it when just after a new cycle starts with my current phone, and I'm in no rush to port and use the new phone. Do i have up to 45 days to activate the phone, and an additional 7 days to try it out in case I have an issue with the service? I haven't seen both of those pieces listed on the same policy.

4G on Mint VS 5G on Tmoblie

Does T-MOBILE throttle Mint by sticking it on 4G? I have Mint on a Samsung A54 and my Dad has T-MOBILE on an A53. He is on 5G getting 7 to 20 mbps download speed, while I'm lucky to see 500 kbps, if it works at all. According to opensignal, we are connected to the same tower. This is an ongoing issue at a location that doesn't have great service, so it shouldn't have anything to do with running out of data. It's pretty frustrating not to be able to even load an email or basic webpage.

Using Mint to Finance with Apple

This might seem kinda confusing but I was thinking about financing the new iPhones 16 series but found out I couldn't finance an unlocked phone so I thought I could with T mobile and later using it with Mint? Would I be able to bypass by using t mobile since mint is a subsidiary of it? And are there any people who have done it? Any problems? I've read a few forums but those were all before apple removed financing option for unlocked phones. Are there anymore options for me? Thank you!

Mint user going to South Africa

I have a buddy with an unlocked iPhone 15 pro that wants to switch over from AT&T to mint, however he is concerned about what to do when he travels to South Africa to visit family. What pitfalls can he expect?

APN Settings Android 15

I just got a new Pixel 9. It arrived with android 15. I switched over my SIM Card and got the message to go and configure the APN settings for MMS. All is good, except my APN configure is different than the instructions. I have things missing and things added. Is there updated instructions for Android 15 yet?

Mint gives the worst numbers

Mint has unfailingly given me numbers that already have accounts on Amazon, Ubereats, Rezy etc. It’s getting ridiculous. I called customer service to change the number (super inconvenient because I have to update everyone around me and my bank) and the new number still has a bunch of ties to apps. And of course these numbers receive 20 spam calls a day. I’d say to avoid Mint if you’re thinking about becoming a new customer it’s too much of a hassle.

Retroactive refund for price change?

I have been a Mint customer for a year or two. Last week I bought the $399 Pixel 9 and then activated it with the $120 3-month unlimited plan.

Now they're offering the Pixel 9 with one year of unlimited for $480. I spent $520 and only got 3 months of unlimited.

Is there any way I can get a refund and lock into the one year plan instead, since they changed the offer immediately after my purchase?

EDIT I'm reading that the 1-year deal may have only been for new customers. If that is the case, then the same question as above, but instead of the phone+plan can I be refunded the $100 for the price drop from $400 to $300?

I'm back with Mint and I forgot I have some renewal money left.😭

So I changed phone services and regret it. Now I go back to mint mobile with the same phone number and found out I have some money left with $60 renewal money. I called customer service to get my lost money back and told me my old account is gone and can't do anything to get my $60 renewal money back. I already sent an email. What should I do? I'm willing to get at least gift cards. 😭😭😭😭

Wife's phone (vzn galaxy S9 plus) getting intermittent delays or unsent and unreceived text pics/ vector messages/phonecalls

Phone still boots up wit Verizon splash screen two weeks later. Multiple texts with customer service narrowed it down to a mHz difference between networks, but we were provided with no problem solving, no suggestions, no workarounds, nothing.

Is there a way to pick up sim by ourselves?

I'm traveling to the US soon and planning to buy a mint mobile plan. I use Oneplus 12 but it's the version without esim support, so I need to use a physical sim. However since I'm traveling and changing places almost daily, I don't really have a reliable place for the sim to be delivered. Is it possible to pick up the sim by myself somewhere somehow or any other methods?

Can current a customer use a 3 month SIM kit to add another 3 months?

We don't need a new SIM card, but there is a sale on the 3 month SIM kit so this would be cheaper.
