New Heated Vest (awesome btw) Battery not charging?

Hi all, just got one of the new hexon vests, to start it works awesome, heats fast and gets incredibly warm on the highest setting. I havent seen many if any reviews so wanted to put that out there. I wore it untill dead, which brought to my attention the lack of fuel guage anywhere, and the fact that even on a $260cad vest, only the cheapest, discontinued m12 adapter was provided. Dissapointing but if it works it works. Then i went to charge it. For the first time in over a decade of milwaukee tools and batteries, i got the green and red on the charger my very first charge of a new battery, on a proven charger. I tried the new charger from the box, same result. So somehow this battery (cp2.0) is dead after its first use. I dont know what to do because i had to order the vest to get my size and dont want to return the kit, but at the same time i am worried that either the jacket or adapter is to blame for killing the battery? It worked great for an hour!

Posted in the attict with thr M18 Tri-Panel-Flood Light and 6 gallon vacuum

Slowly trying to turn my attict around. I bought the floodlight as an incentive to come back up.

I abandoned the batteries at another store, since I have plenty.

    2648-21 vs 2648-20?

What is the difference? Is the -21 newer or significantly better? The 2648-20 is $100 cheaper, I would expect significantly better performance out of the -21 if it is newer or better. Is it worth it?

Closest "Milwaukee Red" PETG and PLA filament choices?

Those of you that have been 3D printing things, what brand/type of filament have you found that is closest to the official "Milwaukee Red"? I'm hoping to at least get close to the PackOut red color.

Is the Track Saw Kit Deal good?

I can’t find any history on the track saw kit with the packout/tracks. Have there been better deals in the past?

Desiring a combo of regular brushless drill and impact driver for an affordable price

Hello guys, I already have Dewalt tools. But over the years I developed some love and passion to Milwaukee tools

So I’m looking for a big discount to grab one kit to fulfill my passion of it. To be specific this below kit is ideal for me

    https://www.acmetools.com/milwaukee-m18-fuel-2-tool-combo-kit-3697-22/045242637744.html

How and when I can get that for a more afforable price? How long should I wait for it?

NTD - My toys look like this to her toys look like that… Is that how the saying goes?

This roto hammer is barely 4 hours old. Bought it this morning and went straight into the mud.

Saved me a lot of back breaking work of trying to swing a pickaxe to dig a trench in a crawl space.

Several hours later my Forge 8.0 still has 2 bars left 💪🏼

Recommended pack out (if any) for a handful of tools?

I currently work as a custodian/facilities worker at a local school. Daily, I transport 2 to 3 batteries along with a handful of Milwaukee hand tools. Any recommendations on a pack out that’s easy to transport on a daily basis? I’m currently using a small tool bag, but it’s not large enough to carry everything I need. Thanks in advance!

Here’s what I’m transporting daily, along with a few other smaller items not pictured…along with the backpack vacuum which is 100% awesome.

Can i use the 2915-DE dust extractor with SDS 2912 Drill ? They seem to have the same connections. Only the length and hole soze seems to be different. I accidentally ordered on home depot. Now do i return and get the right one or just use the 2915-DE

    Dual battery blower performance

Cleared my .6 acre lot of leaves today. We have a decent amount of trees around. I have a gas backpack blower and this year in my left hand I used the dual battery Milwaukee 2824-20 to tag team the leaves and it was a nice combination.

The battery blower is really strong and rivals the backpack. That said, this thing goes through batteries like nobodies business.

I lost count of how many changes there ultimately were, but I timed a few of them.

    2x 12.0HO - 25m10s

    2x 8.0Forge - 21 min

    2x 6.0HO- 11m10s

I went through at least another set of 6.0s, and another set 12.0s over 2.5 tanks in the backpack.

I had batteries charging on the supercharger and two rapid chargers the whole time and it was hard to keep up with the usage.

I don't know how states are planning on banning gas engines for landscaping. It doesn't make sense. The amount of batteries to try to equal gas is ridiculous. It is nice to have no maintenance and the performance is great, but the run time isn't even close. I have to grab a second 12.0 forge to see how those do with run time.

Been waiting years for the M18 coil nailer to be released. Pre-ordered it a couple months ago and picked it up yesterday! 2909-20.

Perfect timing as I have been residing my house the last couple weekends (comes with a vinyl siding tip). As a custom home and pole barn builder in Michigan, this will be mainly used for metal trims (J channel, angled base, z metal, etc) for pole barns.

Why doesn't Canada get any decent deals on tools and batteries?

I've accumulated a bunch of m12 fuel series tools that I use daily and the cost on the batteries is absolutely insane.

Why doesn't Canada get deals even remotely close to the states?

The M12 Impact Driver is beautifully designed but poorly engineered: Not comfortable to use.

Which power tool is better to open/widen stucco cracks in the house wall?

5 years ago I did this with chisel and hammer and while it worked great and still holds up. I have a few new cracks and some cracks that opened up after lazy paint job (contractor) and would love to use a Power tool this time. it is a great occasion to add another red tool to my growing collection.

Is multi-tool with grout carbide blade would be the best for this job? or rotary Dremel is better? Should I go with M12 or M18? Which blade you would recommend? I do not own currently neither multi-tool or Dremel. Which one would be more practical around the house and DIY?

Cracks are not deep or wide, typical Florida stucco cracks...
