I sometimes order from FiveAkhis Express. They have their own app and do their own delivery but I'd love to find others that do this.
UberEats and other apps charge ridiculous fees.
I recently heard of chunkeez which I believe does their own delivery.
Hi all,
Will be attending the game tomorrow at stadium MK, does anyone if parking needs to pre booked at the stadium as can't find info online or on Ringo.
Or if any alternatives close by?
Hey
Next week for a day I'll need to work remotely for a few hours in the morning. Does anyone know a reliable cafe I could go to that is open just before 8am that will have stable WiFi? Ideally near Whitehouse area but I'm happy to travel. Thanks
Looking for the best places that delivers to CMK
Hello people!
Apologies if this has been discussed before. As it’s getting dark very early now I’d love to know if there are well lit areas where people can go for walks? I live in Bletchley and it’s not particularly inviting and doesn’t feel as safe.
I can drive so distance is not a problem.
Thanks in advance!
Hi, recently moved to MK. Are there any events going on tonight for meeting new people and just grabbing a drink?
Can anyone recommend a bottomless brunch in MK, please?
Any recommendations? Specifically that welcome walk ins?
Looking at potential places to live. Curious to hear people’s thoughts/experiences. Although a nice area, wondering if likely to experience racism.
Hi there, our cat has gone missing, if you have any information please contact us at 07508102479
Hey! Can anyone pls suggest an electrician at whitehouse park who is reasonably priced. Thank you in advance.
Hi everyone,
Probably a post thats’s been repeated but keen to get thoughts based on my personal circumstances.
I have secured a role in London and potentially looking to move to MK and commute 3 days per week.
I am moving from Scotland so MK does make it more convenient to travel back by car. I am moving with my partner and two kids aged 1 and 4 so access to nurseries and schools are important.
I have researched into MK West - Shenleys, TMA, Great Holm, Stony Stratford although generally houses seem out of my budget of £450k (4-bed).
Wolverton ticks my budget box and I have read predominantly positive reviews but how are the schools and are there parts of the area I should avoid?
Ideally looking something close to one of the train stations, within walking distance or a short drive away without significant parking costs.
Also keen to get your thoughts on other areas around MK that I should consider i.e Oldbrook, Newport Pagnell, Bletchley.
Thanks :)
I've just moved here but my old barber warned me that not many high street barbers can cut longer hair. Are there any good unisex salon's?
My hair is curly/wavy too, if that matters
Hello,
I am in the process of preparing my motorcycle for winter storage, I live in a flat building so I don't have access to a hose to be able to clean my bike. Does anyone know of any places that offer motorcycle valet? I don't really want to use those gas station ones since they use power washers.
Thank you!
Seem to be well lot of Afrobeat events there and I was wondering how that happened?
Moving to MK this week (Tattenhoe/Emerson Valley area). Drowning in the sea of logistics and packing.....all my wife and I are thinking of is......what's our takeaway going to be after we're in the house? Anyone got any favourites to recommend?
I found a few book cabinets around Milton and I was so happy with them. Many great books. Where can I find more? I love exchange books and get new interesting ones for return.
I’m looking to move, but I have quite a low income, so I can get council houses. I’m in a very rough bit on cmk, and am looking to move somewhere a bit nicer. Thanks everyone
Not loaded with sugar and crappy icing on top. Just a good, tasty cheesecake?
Hi, where’s the best place in Milton Keynes to get a coffee and a pastry? No chains ideally, something small and independent. Thanks!
20, bartender, and bloody bored.
Obviously I’m working every weekend so can’t go out on the busy periods.
Was thinking of maybe getting a group out on a weekday?? Could be fun. More the merrier.
Hey
Moving to whitehouse soon and looking to get a stable internet provider for the times I'll be wfh. I have EE phone contract which although I haven't had much issues with, in the area in whitehouse has really poor signal. I'm wondering if the broadband would be different.
The alternative is rebel internet, which is much less known but has decent reviews overall - https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/rebelinternet.uk
It's more expensive than EE, but for me the most important things are stability/reliability and excellent support if things do ever go wrong. Some other things to note:
Has anyone tried either of these broadband services and can recommend which one is best?
I want to start going to the gym more frequently but it's hard when I will be alone does anyone know of how I can meet gym friends to come with me I need to go 2 times a week I do have a plan to follow as well
What the title says! I’ve been living in Birmingham for a few years and this will be the first time I need to park at the train station in years (from about 11am to midnight on a Monday). Had a look online on the Saba website and it says £25…surely not?? I remember it used to be around a fiver for a day?
