Now for any miles morales haters reading this list is also for you because now when your in an argument with any miles fans then you know not to use this criticisms.
1.miles morales is only popular because of the spider-verse movies.
Uh yeah and? Like iron man is only really popular because of the mcu. and I’d agrue that more than a large chunk of Peter’s fanbase knows him from either knows him from one of his cartoons or movies. Lots of comic book or book characters are popular because of a movie they were in and there’s nothing wrong with that.
Because that’s how we distinguish him from Peter Parker, like when people debate or talk about the live action spider-man movies people will refer to the 3 spider-man as,Toby spider-man,or Andrew spider-man,or Tom spider-man.
Miles morales was created to be a LEGACY CHARACTER and was meant to be an expansion of the idea of how any could be spider-man no matter what you look like under the mask. If you don’t like the idea of legacy characters then that’s fine, but miles morales having a different name wouldn’t improve his character.
Now these aren’t all the dumb criticisms I have heard of miles morales but just the dumbest ones I can think of. Now what dumb criticisms have you heard of spider-man?
Hey, fellow web-slingers!
I just wanted to take a moment to talk about one of my favorite characters swinging through the Marvel Universe: Miles Morales, aka Spider-Man. With the recent surge in popularity due to the blockbuster movies and the success of the video game, Miles has rightfully taken his place as one of the most beloved superheroes of our time.
First introduced in the Ultimate Universe, Miles brought a fresh perspective to the Spider-Man mythos. As a half-African American, half-Latino teenager from Brooklyn, he resonated with audiences who were eager for greater diversity in comics. But it's not just his background that makes Miles stand out; it's his journey and character development.
Miles isn't just a carbon copy of Peter Parker; he's his own Spider-Man with unique powers and challenges. His ability to camouflage himself and unleash electric venom blasts adds an exciting twist to the classic Spidey powers. Plus, his struggles with balancing his personal life, school, and superhero responsibilities make him incredibly relatable to readers of all ages.
What I love most about Miles Morales is his unwavering sense of responsibility and determination to do what's right, even when the odds are stacked against him. Whether he's facing off against classic villains like Green Goblin and Venom or navigating the complexities of being a teenager, Miles always rises to the occasion with courage and heart.
And let's not forget the impact Miles has had beyond the comic book pages. Seeing him swing through the streets of New York City in the "Spider-Man: Miles Morales" video game was an absolute thrill, and his inclusion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has opened the door for even more exciting adventures to come.
So, whether you're a longtime fan of Spider-Man or just discovering Miles Morales for the first time, let's celebrate this incredible hero who proves that anyone can wear the mask of Spider-Man and make a difference in the world.
