Nicest hotel near Midlothian?

Visiting family in February and not sure where to stay - many of the hotels have mixed reviews. Husband and I traveling with our little babe. Looking at doubletree, Hampton inn etc. Safe, clean, easy parking, gym or pool is a bonus! Any recs would be greatly appreciated!

My parents have a bernedoodle that just turned a year old. He has grown some habits that they are trying to work with him on. (He only eats out of their hands, barking at every little sound or movement, just learning no, and leash training are his biggest issues). Ideally, we want to get to a point where he can be around my cats at my own home when they come by. He’s come over a few times before and the first time he was great but he has progressively gotten worse with just barking/chasing because he wants to play.

Has anyone used any of these people or places or have any other recommendations? The dog is their world and they want to go with the best option they can.

Anyone know what was going on at Winterfield Crossing today? I passed around 4 and the main intersection inside the area was cordoned off with police tape and there were a few cops blocking the roads. But otherwise nothing out of the ordinary that I could see. Just a white truck sitting there.

My two kids have now settled down into Chesterfield and Short Pump. My wife and I will be relocating to the area in the spring and we’re thinking Midlo/Moseley/Powhatan kind of puts us center to both. We’re trying to tour the area looking for best neighborhoods. We’re newly retired looking for a 3-4 bedroom place hopefully not on 1/3 acre. Have kind of ruled out 55+. Any suggestions of areas to look at would be appreciated

This is the third night in a row and second morning in a row that has resulted in a crash at this intersection. It’s a basic 4 way intersection. What’s going on? Can I answer any questions about how these intersections work? I know the greater Richmond area has a reputation of shit drivers, but this is wild. On October 5th, OCD Mid-Atlantic (a local non-profit) is hosting an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Awareness Walk in Deep Run Park (learn more/register here: Richmond OCD Walk) These walks have helped me meet some awesome community members (now friends!) and feel less alone in my recovery! There will be live music, food, and a community of people who understand how challenging it is to live with OCD and related disorders (like Hoarding and BFRBs). Funds go to support OCD Mid-Atlantic and the International OCD Foundation in their mission to increase OCD Awareness and access to treatment.
