Do you have someone in your family who loves gardening? Here's a cool gift idea I came across. Bonus points if they watch the TV show Alone because it was created by Nicole who's been on the show twice (if you haven't seen the show you should give it a try, it's an interesting concept).
It's a gardening kit with seeds for 10 different plants that can be used to make various herbal remedies. It also comes with a book written by Nicole where she goes over everything you can make with the plants from ointments and teas all the way to essential oils and infusions. It's not something you'd find in a normal store so it makes for a unique gift especially if the person you're buying it for is a fan of natural remedies.
I ordered a kit for my Mom's birthday earlier in the year and she was a massive fan of it. She now makes her grandkids sleepy tea before bed whenever they sleep over and always offers us some substance she makes from the feverfew if we complain about a headache. I think she's probably made every recipe in the book and it's only been 9 months.
Here's the link to the website if you want to check it out: https://medicinalkit.com/

Like the title describes, I live in Odessa, and I'd like to get the flooring in two rooms of my house replaced. (Rip out carpet, replace with not carpet - likely wood if we can afford it.) Any suggestions for who to use and why?
I'm looking for a local RV tech, to be specific, i need help with my outlets. The only ones working are the CFI and the one next to it. I did try switching to a household CFI outlet to see if it would work, but no luck. If anyone knows someone local, I'd appreciate it.
I wanted to give you some quick updates regarding the Texit survey I posted here last month.

I would really like to find cooking classes here, but I haven't found much. Does anyone know of any cooking classes in this area? I'm just looking to improve my basic cooking skills, for personal enrichment. I'm not planning on opening a restaurant. I just want to learn enough to make my cooking better
We could build a natural gas power plant ?
Has anyone here joined any of the professional communities in Midland like Young Professionals of Midland, YPE Midland, SPE or WTGS or participater in any of the events? They have popped up on my radar here and there and I was curious as to how social or welcoming they are and if the networking portion is just more industry or age specific than someone random handing you a business card at a bar.

Did anyone have any good experience with this school at all ? Trying to understand if this place and owner are commited to making good business ?
I went there to check on it and see if I could talk to an instructor about how the lessons are carried out, what is the driving process really. But, before I make any comments, want to see what experience people may have had with this school.
Just got a drone and looking for cool legal places to fly. I’ve got a DJI Mini 4 Pro, under 250g.
Looking for a Cheap Bengal Kitten. Anybody got any leads?
Will be spending a week between Odessa and Van Horn. Would love some good, cheap BBQ and beer joints. Also for a bonus, what's the best breakfast in Odessa? Thanks!
I’ve never been to Monahans and was curious if people are allowed to drive on the sand dunes. If not, are there other sand dunes within a couple hours that you can drive on? I’ve tried searching on google and I haven’t been able to find an answer.
Since The Hive in Odessa closed, I’m not aware of anywhere that carries current comics in the Permian Basin. I really want to check out the Absolute DC comics that are being published right now. Edit: I found Kenny’s Comics on Facebook. Dude was great and is definitely the current comic book plug.
