Submission format: cover artist - song name (original artist)[any other comments, e.g. date, genre]

Submission guidelines

Encouraged: metal artists covering metal songs, metal artists covering non-metal songs

Acceptable: non-metal artists covering metal songs (use your judgement here: Iron Horse's cover of Enter Sandman would be acceptable, Nickelback's cover of Sad But True would not)

Unacceptable: badly recorded youtubers' "covers" of songs, non-metal covers of non-metal songs, poor quality live covers (if you submit a video of a live performance, ensure it is decent quality)

Live collaborations: the number of members of the original band must be smaller than the number of members of the covering band, e.g. Diamond Head playing "Am I Evil" with James Hetfield singing is not a cover. Metallica playing it with Sean Harris singing is.

Please feel free to post your own cover of a song provided it is a recording of reasonable quality (exceptions can be made for Black Metal and similar) and provided it is more than just you playing the main riff badly filmed on your webcam.
