I know what GT means, but I dont feel like these cars are that far apart to drive. GT is a bit tamed - I'm curious what other peoples thoughts are, and if anyone has owned both, which one they prefer. Figure a GT with an exhaust and nice wing would look and sound pretty similar but getting a 8 year newer car? Thoughts.
Context, not a daily driver, but canyon driving every few weekends.
Hey everyone,
I was looking for a picture of the F1 chassis #040, also known as the “Flemke” car which was his F1 being photographed at a McDonalds drive through. I heard the image was featured in a Car magazine UK Dec 2005 issue under the “reader’s camera” section or something?
The image is really funny imo, and I’m not sure how I last found it or if it’s somewhere in the long Flemke F1 Pistonheads thread. Thanks in advance
Hey guys I had a check engine light on my 570s so I took it to McLaren in Titusville, Fl. They’re telling me that the cost without warranty is 2800 dollars. I looked online and found that it shouldn’t break 500 including labor. Do you guys think I’m getting ripped off? They’re also charging me 3k because the lumbar adjustment on my drivers seat is not working. I would greatly appreciate the communities input! Thanks
I love the P1 so much
I took this awhile ago and it reminded me of a shark lol
i’m a noob to engines but when i google it says they use them both in the same cars but never says they actually use both so im a little confused. and if they do use both then what means they’ll use which one
I enjoy the 570s and wondering what the price might be in a few years. I understand miles is a big part so average miles would be fine.
Hello, I will be moving to Romania in a few months, and have my eyes on a 650s. However, McLaren’s are not really in my knowledge. I have some questions regarding the car and the service:
I plan to use it as a daily and on trips, since I will be travelling between my home country and Romania (approx. 2300km per trip). Is the 650s a comfortable car for such trips?
What should I check during the buying process?
What can I fit on the luggage compartment? To be specific, the car is the spider version.
For any members in Romania, especially in Bucharest, is there a certified service for maintenances? If not, how can I handle regular maintenances across EU?
What is the approximate cost of the car per month as a daily, if any users here?
Thanks in advance.
Nailed the spelling on his first try! I’m so proud!!🥲
My first McLaren spot, and it’s a 720s close to downtown Charlottesville.
Beauty just posted at a warehouse like a barn find.
I have a really blurry photo but is this the same type of McLaren, I saw it on the block my parents live on in the Palisades. The two people in the car had paint matched helmets.
