Obviously this subreddit is 90% purposeful satire....but of the internet noobs that genuinely believe they're a masterhacker because they followed one step by step youtube scam...boy am I jealous of you. You, you naive thing. I have very little knowledge of cybersecurity or hacking but I've been getting into several cites that help teach it. It started off laughingly easy and then very quickly progressed to terms that my brain just cannot retain. Spent 30 minutes on the worlds simplest fake VM scenario. Felt like an idiot when the solution was laughingly obvious and I was stressing over it, over thinking it for nothing. The excitement for learning left after I spent hours trying to figure out how to configure cynwig SSH just to realize I was missing an important file, fixing the problem, cheering and immediately running into a separate problem, of which I still have yet to fix (and no, google has not helped). Technology has sucked all of my joy at the very beginning and reignited the path for self destruction. I must continue learning to dominate over the puny machines that continue to best me at every turn, otherwise it'll keep me awake at night. Honestly it's already starting to go that course. Wish me luck. I'll update you guys in a month.
