We are a college simulation football league with 120 teams, and Marshall is looking for someone to lead them to glory! This league has been around for about 30 seasons and we are still going strong. Hello Thundering Herd! I'm posting this here as we at KnowRivalry have decided it's time to collect some data on CFB teams to determine some data based answers on rivalries, especially with the college football season being over, I figured now would be a good time before the Spring to collect data.

With the help of message board members beginning in 2014, we—the students and professors of the Know Rivalry Project—began answering this question and others related to rivalry in the FBS Division I. Lone Hokie here whose family went to Marshall. Looking to tailgate for the VT game. Was curious if anyone knew any information about the first come first serve lots. I hear that since it is a nooner, they'll be opening at 8. What's the deal to get there early enough to snag a spot? Is there a way to queue up or do they just not let you set up tents, etc before 8? Any tips for wanting to have beers cracking around 6 instead?

Also, I've heard that open flame is allowed. Can anyone confirm?
