Dedicated to the band/artist Marilyn Manson

Taken from a "Metal Injection" article:
Borland said “every single thing that people have said about [Manson]” is true.
Borland was interviewed by Twitch channel Space Zebra and Borland felt the need to speak out. He said: “Can I say something right now, real quick?
“Marilyn Manson… I was in the band for nine months. He’s not a great guy. Every single thing that people have said about him is fucking true. So relax about the allegations towards the women… like when people say [bad things about] these women that are coming after him right now… fuck off, they are speaking the truth.
“I’m sorry to everyone on this podcast right now who doesn’t like this. But that guy, he’s amazingly talented, but he’s fucked up and he needs to be put in check and he needs to get sober and he needs to come to terms with his demons. He is a bad fucking guy.
“I was there when he was with Evan Rachel Wood, I was at his house, it’s not fucking cool. That’s all I’m gonna say about it.
“If anyone is coming after these girls and going like, ‘You blah blah blah, this and that,’ fuck you, that’s all I’m gonna say.
“Sorry to take this to a dark place, but that guy is canceled, goodbye, don’t let the door hit you on the way out.” [transcription via MetalSucks]
Borland then recalled one time when Manson assaulted him "He tried to choke me out on stage and I flipped him over and knocked the breath out of him. He’s not a great guy. Goodbye. My apologies. I was the biggest fan and [now] I am not.”
Borland was asked about his experience with Manson in a 2016 interview and was far more vague, saying "It was entertaining and simultaneously inspiring, and also a letdown at the same time. That guy is one of the funniest, quickest-witted people I've ever met, but he really needs to be healthier. He needs to start working on his inner organs and stop abusing them so much, because they're going to fail him."
That's a lot more than saying he's a drug addict who needs to get sober. He does say that, AS WELL, but he's also saying "every single thing they said is true," which is SUCH fucking bullshit. IMO he needs to reverse this.
I noticed all the new tracks on OAUG say “written by Tyler Bates” at the bottom (on iTunes). Did Manson write any? It seems so personal, that he would have been the main writer. I’d be surprised if he didn’t.
Weren't there rumors of a huge headlining tour to support the album in 2025? Or is it just gonna be the 10 date European run? Maybe we won't see him touring as much due to the obligations of his band members to other groups?
I am not a pro musician but he clearly cannot hit the high notes during pre-chorus. Like it’s bad here and there and he’s literally struggling. Not sure if everything was right on the technical/sound side at the venue, though. Other songs are tof, or he obviously did have much more time and chances to train to perform them live.
Is there any interview footage of Daisy Berkowitz with the band during this time period?
I know the Headbangers ball one, You can notice the tension between Manson and Daisy.
Just didnt know if there were others. You would think interviewers would want to talk with the original composer. I understand they were more into the shock. Just curious
This is pretty straight forward, what are your rankings for the songs on the new album
Here’s mine
Also I like every song on the album, to me none of them are bad MMIP is the only one where I wouldn’t give it higher than a 5/10
This is so stupid it's almost a shit post. Does anyone have the Rick and Morty commentary that he did for the blu-ray release?
I just found out that him and Courtney did commentary. Here's an article about it: https://www.vice.com/en/article/marilyn-manson-courtney-love-rick-and-morty-blu-ray-dvd-commentary/
I'm not gonna go out and find this blueray just to get it but I wanna see it cause it seems like a particular time capsule because it was recorded 2018.
Like, DA-DA-DAN! 🥁🥁🥁🥁 NA NA DA DA DA NAN
Marilyn Manson’s new album is an instant classic. I’m 42 and been listening to MM on and off for over 25 years and this is the album I’ve been waiting for probably since after Holy Wood. It’s classic Manson but fresh sounding. Brutal/raw but catchy as hell and excellently produced. Manson has never sounded better or more on point. Anyway, and apologies if this has been well discussed, but had MM released a steaming pile of dog shit. Something self-indulgently bull, blunted, lazy and meandering, would every mainstream Rock and Metal outlet have covered it just to rip it and Marilyn Manson himself to pieces? And the fact they haven’t, speaks volumes of the quality of this record. People may say “no, he’s rightly being ignored because he’s (allegedly btw) this, that and the other” but I just don’t believe that these handwringing luvvies wouldn’t have been queuing up to piss all over MM new shitty record…had it been even close to being one.
I'm not finding any info on what songs were played other than like 6 of them
