Looking for people to form a Pathfinder2e group to meet weeknight evenings (except Wednesdays)
Looking for PF2e players and a GM
I ask for the group to be reasonable. So no banning ancestries based off rarity, and no being anti-roleplay/anti-flavor. Like a group that would allow for PF2e prestidigation to do what 5e prestidigation does so I can have more freedom to express my characters flavor and themes.
I also ask that the group not have anyone using ai art in it. I’ve known artists and I want to maybe become an artist myself, and I’d rather keep generative ai from something that’s supposed to be fun and not upsetting
Finally, I am looking for a group that values narrative and roleplay, and isn’t hyper focused on solely combat and crawling
Outside that I’m flexible. I’m open to anything, whether it’s a homebrew setting or Golarion, aswell as most APs
My daughter and I just moved here a few months ago, and our neighbors already said our neighborhood doesn’t really participate in trick or treating. Any ideas of where we could go Thursday?
Anything fun to do around here in Manassas? I’m in the prince william county area, like any abandon places or other interesting things to do around here?
It’s not been a great week. My kiddo totaled their car last weekend; on our insurance so we’re taking the hit. Tonight a deer jumped out of a ditch a clipped my car. Damage is limited to a driver’s door dent and a popped cover on the headlamp washer. We are going to have to eat this repair out of pocket. I desperately need a local shop who can help without fleecing us.
Where is the best place to watch a sunset near Manassas? Preferably within 30 minutes.
Does anyone know of a good Lagree Pilates studio around here? I just moved here from Louisville, Kentucky and started practicing Lagree Pilates there. I have done regular pilates on the reformer and it isn’t as intense as i’d like.
Looking for PF2e players and a GM
If the GM in question is anti-flavor and does stupid things like ban ancestries based off rarity, then please don’t GM for me
I ask nobody who uses ai art come. As someone who has spoke with artists and is interested in getting better at art myself, I don’t want to deal with generative ai at my games
I am looking for a female psychiatrist/psychologist that specializes in anxiety, depression, and grief in the Manassas are. Does anyone have someone they would recommend?
I just moved to the Manassas area from Kentucky. I have been having a difficulty finding a full-time job so in the meantime, I am thinking about starting DoorDash and Instacart. I don’t know much about the area so I’m wondering if anyone that lives here does these and are they lucrative? Any info would be greatly appreciated! :) i’d also like to add I was in the Army for 11 years and have my Bachelor’s in Communications and plenty of work experience.
Does anybody know what is the mayonnaise based dip that comes with your food? It’s really good and I’m wondering if I can buy it a Hmart or make it. Thanks
There is this little pond behind my housing complex and i’m concerned for the wildlife that lives in the pond. These big beautiful turtles keep crawling into my complex and I figure if the pond was a safe environment for them there’s no way they would be making the far trek to the sidewalk in front of our houses. Their shells also look badly cracked, which I don’t think is a good sign, but I’m obviously not an expert. The people in my complex keep throwing them back in the pond to try and save them, but after the fourth turtle we found I’m beginning to think that’s not the right solution. I also found a few skeletons around the pond, not sure if that speaks to the poor health conditions of the pond or if it’s just birds eating local wildlife.
I would really appreciate if anybody could let me know if there is some sort of nonprofit or government organization that can help either clean up the pond or save and rehabilitate the animals there. Thanks so much!
I have preferences and the like but that can be discussed when we form the group
I am wanting to find a group to play with and eventually make friends
I just ask that people who like ai art and use ai art don’t join.
I want to play with people who support creativity.
Hello, I’m posting this as I’m looking for employment in the Manassas area. My background is IT administration with of course soft skills related to customer, service, landscaping, management. I also do graphic design editing, for two social media accounts.
If there’s any companies or individuals that know of companies hiring, I’m looking to reach out thank you!
I'm trying to start a tradition with my son of watching the Commanders games out at a bar with a good atmosphere of Washington fans cheering on the team. We live walking distance to historic Manassas, and caught the week 4 game against the Cardinals at Philadelphia tavern, but there were not many people there. Where can we go and cheer on the team with a crowd?
I've been craving some good biryani lately. Do any of the local Indian places have this on their menu?
The prices there are surprisingly good, but there are few reviews. What's the catch?
Also, what other apartments in Manassas are worth staying at? Looking to stay under $2200 for 2 bedrooms.
To the guy in the white F250 at Sheetz on Liberia Ave…….you park like a cunt.
I’ve recently moved here and was wondering if there where any spots
I’m taking my cat to Anicira Thursday for a surgery, and I’m from Richmond so will be sticking around from 7 am until 5 pm. What are some good things to do to occupy myself? I love coffee shops and delis for lunch. Looking for any suggestions!

Recently moved to manassas from out of state. Wondering if the locals here have recs on best places to buy a tv? Costco, Best Buy, any local stores?
I saw that there is a Best Buy Outlet here that sells open box items. Anyone have experience with that place?
Would also appreciate if you all could recommend a specific location of the store you are recommending.
I’ve been going to Nathan’s dairy bar ever since I was a little kid and just tonight I ordered my usual (soft serve vanilla cup w/ cookie dough). I noticed that the soft serve has a completely different flavor and I couldn’t even finish my ice cream, which is the first time that’s happened. Is it just me or has anyone else also noticed the change? Love that place so much but unfortunately I can’t even enjoy the ice cream anymore :(
Do you suffer from lower back pain and depression?
Researchers at Johns Hopkins University are seeking individuals with chronic low back pain and co-occurring depression to participate in a research study looking at the effects of psilocybin, a psychoactive substance found in naturally occurring mushrooms. The study will investigate the psychological effects of psilocybin, including whether or not it can help with chronic low back pain and co-occurring depression.

Hi folks, starting a new job later this month in Manassas and looking for local apartment recommendations. Ideally 1BR and ~2k/month. Google reviews seem a mixed bag. I'm currently 2h away in MD so not overly familiar with the area. Any recs greatly appreciated!
This one has been one that's sat in my mind for awhile and mainly because the nature of the accused who did the shooting losing his life a few days later to gun violence. I'm wondering if anyone has any more information on this case and the type of person Carlos Benitez-Arevalo was? I'm assuming he was a drug dealer because apparently he had shot dalton over a unpaid debt. This guy must have been into some bad stuff because he was shot to death outside a gas station in prince George's county about 3 days later. I do not think his killer was ever found because I am not able to find any updates on the case just the initial reports from August 22nd 2022. I've always wondered if this was just karma or if he was into some really bad stuff? Either way it's crazy to think of a 19 year old running around with no regard for peoples life and dying by the same fate just a few days later after committing such a heinous crime killing one and wounding another.
The closer to Manassas the better.
Hi everyone,
I'm a first-time home buyer moving soon to Wellington/Cloverhill where I got a SFH home. I've grown up in Northern VA and haven't really ventured out to Manassas much except for the occasional doctor appointment towards Sudley road. I've always considered Manassas as a more affordable option than other parts of nova and when I began looking, I very quickly fell in love with this home. Everything happened so quickly, and while I did do my research on the neighborhood and nearby areas - I'm now getting nervous reading more and more about how certain areas of Manassas are "rougher" and should be avoided. Georgetown South is five minutes from me, and it seems like that's an area that should be avoided? On the other hand, there are new construction townhomes that I saw even closer to Georgetown South than I will be so why would anyone invest in the area close to it if it's that bad. Others are saying people are turned off Manassas because it has more people of color and blue-collar workers which is definitely not an issue for me, I respect anyone trying to make an honest living. My primary concern is just safety overall. I'm moving my parents and elderly grandmother in with me too.
I figured the neighborhood my home is in was relatively safe based on crimespot.org and the fact that it's very close by Jennie Dean Elementary. I am also very close to the historic district where the farmer's market and all is. I forgot to check the sex offender's registry and did find some listed nearby which is uncomfortable, but I suppose it's better to know who to be aware of than not.
I'm looking for reassurance if I'm worrying for no reason and honest advice on how to stay safe if I'm not. What areas should I really steer clear of? And what areas are great that I can check out (food, fun, local shops, where to meet other young people, etc)? I really hope I am able to make this my home for the next 7-10 years and I didn't rush into this. Thank you for reading this far!
Edit: I'm in the process of closing on the house
There was a car stuck at the light and multiple cops giving aid and few others cops roaming the area at high speeds . Went in the scanner app and herd reports of a stabbing and multiples suspects running through Chuck E. Cheese and Home Depot then also herd reports of a black pick up truck being chased from the scene onto 66 and 95 ? Are my incidents mixed up or all related any one else seen or here about this earlier tonight
