I would like to vote for someone who isn't corrupt. Hopefully someone who cares about the environment and secondarily someone who's into socialist policies to create safety nets for the less fortunate members of society.

I will be coming to Malta in the summer. I have booked a self catering studio with a couple friends in a luxury hotel. I will be spending 3 full days (4 nights) in Malta.

I am not sure what the cost is like in Malta. How much spending money would you recommend a tourist would usually spend in Malta during this day and age? This would cover about two meals a day, drinks, going out to nice restaurants for dinner, nightlife, tourist activities etc.

Me and some girlfriends are coming end of June for a celebratory trip & are looking for higher end / more exclusive nightlife places. We are late 20’s early 30’s and open to anywhere to have fun and dance but want to buy a table or be in an area where it isn’t overran by teenagers / easy access to drinks etc.

I was looking at Gianpula village and getting a table in the VIP area but in the photos it also looks extremely busy around where the tables are even though there are apparently caps on table numbers. Anyone been in the VIP section?

I just realised that some parts of the island received some Street View coverage from July 2022 (idk why it took almost 2 years to be released tho).

Although some areas (I would say, a bit more than half of the country) still has the old 2016 imagery, maybe we'll see the updated version soon? Who knows

How aware are Maltese of the Islamic history of the island? I was reading about the moors in southern europe (sicily, iberia, etc.) during the middle ages and it seems like malta was one of the last moorish outposts culturally... they still speak arabic albeit heavily mixed w/ italian and english.

Did the catholic rulers go to work on erasing that history as much as possible?

How reliable is public transportation? How quick is shipping things with Amazon to the island? What are good internet service providers for online gaming? Etc.

I was born in Malta to a Scottish mother and a Maltese biological father. My mother left the country and took me back to Scotland when I was only 3 months old, and have never had contact with my biological father since. I have my birth certificate.

Would I be eligible for a Maltese passport through birth with a biological Maltese father? As I do not have any contact with him i’m unsure of the complications and seems hard to find any information. I do know his name though based on my birth certificate.
