After quite a few years of milking the last of the beloved powder/wax combo, I've finally hit pan completely and need recommendations, please! Initially I loved the light wax and only used that, then shifted to the clear wax and powder combo once I used all of the light wax up, so I'm flexible.
TIA!
products used:
face: ever bilena concealer stick hanyuanxi bb cream
eyes: meiya eyeshadow the jaclyn hill palette max and more palette sunisa white liquid eyeshadow pinkflash eyeliner
brows: kiss beauty brow soap anastasia bev hills dipbrow pomade - ash brown
lips: toot dodo lipstick - 05 revlon super lustrous lipstick - berry rich
I really struggle with choosing a lipstick tat suits me. Particularly nudes. Some look too light and make me look weird, some are a bit too yellowish and also look really weird. This is a combination of a blueish pink liner and just a bit of Revlon's Ultra HD Matte 655 Kisses. I applied very little with my finger and then some transparent balm over it. I think it looks nice. I'm wearing a bit of dark brown eye shadow and Loreal's False Lash Telescopic mascara.
I am trying to find a mysterious sunscreen that i absolutely loved but i forgot its name and i dont have its prescription
Here's a description for your sunscreen: Its an pharmaceutical product
The product came in a white tube and bad its name written on it with light blue colour and its cap was white and had a creamy texture rather than a gel or watery consistency. When applied, it felt pulpy to the touch, providing a rich, moisturizing sensation on the skin. It felt oily while applying and its a pharmaceutical product A pharmacy sunscreen
Please help me find this sunscreen ive been trying to find this sunscreen since so long l've checked so many places and the original prescription was lost Kindly help The country i live in is INDIA
I recently purchased the Mikayla x elf wedding lipstick and liner that they brought back and I know most of the hype is over the lipstick but I am in love with the liner color. I am going through it really fast and can’t seem to find any suggestions online for lip liner dupes (just the lipstick). The picture I attached is a swatch of all my lip liners compared to the shade I’m looking to dupe.
Hello! I have never worn make at all other than a lip gloss here and there- so NO idea what I am doing! Google searching completely overwhelmed me so I am hoping coming to the experts will save me!
I am very pale and also have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) making my skin mildly transparent on top of the pale complexion. Recently my EDS symptoms are flaring awful making my skin extra fragile and slow to heal, as well as breaking out. I am not interested in learning a whole make up routine (but props to those of you who rock one!). I am hoping though there is some product out there to just smooth out the redness and appearance of the healing pimples that stick out so much on my pale skin. I honestly don’t have the energy, time, or money to learn how to really do makeup for myself, especially in the midst of a flare, but the skin on my face is starting to make me look unprofessional and making my illness more obvious. Any tips on products I could try to get me through this time?
Thanks for any help!
Hi, I was ill for quite a while and basically have been rebuilding my makeup from scratch since it has all definitely expired. I currently have basic face products, mascara, lip products but not a single eyeshadow and I'm so behind with products and formulas and influencers often seem to have an agenda. Does anyone have any suggestions of some good eyeshadow palettes that work well on pale skin? Either bright or neutral colours and I don't really have a price limit, I would just love to start having fun with makeup again.
For reference I use either Lisa Eldrige Seamless enhancing skin tint in T1 or NARS tinted moisturiser in L1.2 Gotland and NARS creamy concealer in Chantilly. Brown hair, blue green eyes, I can post a picture if it helps. TIA
Estou treinando fazer a pele antes de maquiar os olhos e a boca. Base hidratante, contorno em stick, blush em stick e iluminador em stick. Tudo da Sheglam.
Has anyone tried Rituel de Fille's 3 Drop Foundation? I've been trying to find a good foundation that doesn't pill up on my skin and this one seems like it's very moisturizing. At over 40 bucks, it's a bit on the expensive side for me, especially if it's not that good. Any thoughts?
does anyone know how to style this lipstick by MAC? im a pale redhead btw

I have textured skin with open pores, acne scars, and uneven texture. Every time I apply makeup, it just makes everything look more noticeable.
I experimented with different primers.
I use a pea-sized amount of foundation with the dot method.
Minimal concealer and try to blend well.
My skin is moisturized, and I’ve tried primers and other tricks.
But nothing seems to work. The texture, pores, and scars just look worse.
Any tips on how to smooth out my skin, blur imperfections, or product recommendations? I really need help to make makeup work for me. Thanks!!
Hello! I’m a Filipino who always goes to the USA for Christmas vacation and my skin (and makeup) struggle a lot with adjusting to the weather differences haha. In my home country, The Philippines, it’s hot most of the time so when I go to America by December/January my skin becomes so dry that it flakes haha so can anyone tell me why does this happen and if possible, can anyone recommend me products from Sephora that are winter friendly? Hahaha thank you!
I've always been a huge fan of ABH eyeshadow palettes and my best friend's birthday is in less than two weeks. I'm from Brazil and in our Sephora both palettes are 40% off. I only own Modern Renaissance and love it, never tried Primrose. If you could only pick one, which would it be?
Hi there! I am looking for a black lipstick that will have a shiny/gloss finish when applied. I can find an abundance of matte finish lipsticks, however, I’d like to find one that has more shine. I’m not looking for one I had in the past, or one specific brand in particular.
I love the Revlon Super Lustrous Gloss Shine line, and most of my other colors are from that line, but they don’t do black sadly😭
Could anyone recommend me one? I prefer the traditional “in a tube” style lipstick if possible, and I’ll give bonus points if it’s on Amazon! Thanks in advance for any help!!
Looking for some recs now that my skin has changed from combo-dry to combo-oily in recent years. Preferably drugstore but not opposed to mid - high range. Mainly looking for things like concealer, blush, highlight (or palettes with those), eyeshadow, brow products, mascara, etc. Already using Max Factor Facefinity 3-in-1 foundation & have a few powders I like
Thanks!!!
I thought I’d start with all the foundations I’ve tried:
Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum, pre re-release, it must’ve been 10 years ago, I think it was good
Marc Jacobs Remarcable Foundation, I know it’s really dry but I used it by putting it on while my moisturiser was still wet and literally adding like 4 tiny dots, I remember it looking good but I’d rather have something I can just put on normally
Milani 2 in 1 Conceal & Perfect, I just remember it looking waxy, like thick and almost glossy and maybe slightly patchy
Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation, looks amazing when I manually scrub my face but now that I take better care of my skin and only chemically exfoliate, it’s way too dry
Rimmel Kind To Skin Skin Tint, fine, a bit of a weird shade, nice coverage level, maybe a little drier than i’d like
Rare Beauty Tinted Moisturiser, disappointing, only slightly less dry than their foundation
Nars Light Reflecting Foundation, don’t understand the hype or reviews, way too dry and textured on me, self setting, looks good from far away but almost matte on me?
Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation, my favourite foundation, creamy formula, dewy finish, picks up on my dry patches less than others, nice coverage level, difficult to find perfect shade
So really, i’m looking for something as hydrating or my hydrating than Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin.
Thank you in advance for any recommendations.
Hi Im new to this sub so Im not sure if these types of posts are allowed. Im looking for a palette that allows me to have some cool and experimental grungy/vampy looks. Id love a sprinkle of metallics and glitter options in there aswell but they shouldnt make up the big part of the palette. Some good warm reds, greens and oranges and maybe a funky blue would be ideal. Obviously this is very specific so Ill probably buy two palettes to cover all my needs. I would really appreciate some suggestions from all of you. Thanks in advance 🫶
