I’ve eyed this rotating display at my local antique store for a couple years now, finally pulled the trigger on it tonight.
Hi. Hopefully someone will solve a old mystery that has annoyed me for decades. When i was a kid, I used to have toy cars like everyone else. I had a few majorette cars that I used to run on my race sets. What used to fascinate me was the rectangular gap on the bottom of many cars I had. I used to have a memory of a metal cylinder that a disc used to spin like a dynamo. This spinning cylinder used to give speed to the cars when released on the track. Thing is no matter how much ive searched I've never seen a car with a rotating metal cylinder. Did I make this up? What is the rectangular space for?
Any ideas?
I want to get the 5 turbo from the motor line and I found this one and i dont know what the red stick does, the other model I saw didnt had it
The two on the right are my original childhood ones. Interestingly one of the red ones says Firebird and the other says Trans Am. Best diecasts.
The GT R-35 says 1/61 scale, this Toyota Yaris seems to be a big off and BIG.
Majorette Australia says that, new blister design and new vehicles will be introduced in Nürnberg Toy Fair 2025
New collector here. Picked up 2000GT (heard from a friend they’re pretty sparse where i’m at), Q4 Etron (I’m a fan of the color way), and Raptor ofc because I drive an F150.
