What the hell happened to the nightlife in Maidstone? I grew up here and Friday nights were always legendary! I went out here last night for the first time in years and everything was completely dead by about 11pm… Really quite sad to see.
Hello to whoever is reading this. My friends are busy with their lives and work and this made me realise I lack friends lol (mostly cause of my social anxiety). Tbh, I’m looking for a long-term friends, someone who won’t ghost. Someone who’s nice and friendly :)
I like anime, tv shows and YouTube. I love Pokemon. I also like to cook even tho I’m not that good but I’m trying lol. I like travelling and exploring new places. My hobbies vary a lot so we probably will find something in common. I like having fun and friendly conversations. And I think I’m a good listener. I’m very awkward so, sorry if I’m bad with replies or slow lol. I probably do want to chat with you.
I’m 21 male from England Kent so I would like to chat someone who is similar age and in the same country and I don’t mind which gender :D
Moving there for work for a year. Would like to be added any local WhatsApp/ telegram gc
Hi does any of you or your friends like to model for a streetwear brand. If yes kindly send me a personal message and we’ll discuss about it.
So I’m a northerner, I’m coming down to Maidstone this weekend for a couple days to see a woman I’ve met previously. I’ve never been to Maidstone so other than bars and food spots that I’ve seen online I was wondering what other fun things are there to do here? Activities/experiences ect..
Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks guys.
Hi, I'm pretty sad right now so looking for any great locations to find and meet new people to hang or talk to hide the void in my heart.
Can somebody recommend a good repair shop for a MacBook that had liquid spilled on the keyboard?
It’s still working but some of the keys are a bit “sticky” and difficult to use.
My fear is that I’ll leave it with a repair shop and they will make it worse!
Recommendations gratefully received 😊
Seeking New Friends in Maidstone!
Hello! I'm a 27-year-old female who recently moved to Maidstone for work and I'm looking to make some new friends. I love watching TV shows, from gripping dramas to light-hearted comedies, and I'm always on the lookout for new recommendations. I'm also passionate about exploring different cuisines and trying out new restaurants or food spots.

I have an interview with South East Water coming up and I was wondering any current or former employees had any advice for the interview or just working there in general. Thank you.
Hello All,
Anyone know any good/still standing abandoned buildings that are still accessible and not too far out? looking to get into the urbex scene but seems to be nothing around the area
Got my E-scooter seized by police today with no previous warning.
For context, got it as a gift from my brother, went to get some medicine from boots for a relative. Rode the scooter to boots.
I was* walking* back from boots as it was closed, copper says ' you're walking now but the cameras saw you on it ', proceeds to tell me they will have to seize it without warning as it's not legal to ride without insurance.
Asked how to get insurance as I've never heard of that and it's a gift. Says it's impossible to get insurance.
Pretty mean to just take someone's gift without any previous notice or warning
Basically got robbed in broad daylight lmao.
Hey all, I'm relatively new to the UK, I moved over from Australia. I'm keen to meet new people and go out and party, hopefully this Saturday night but other weekends work too. I have only made a few friends since being here and they are busy this weekend, so I thought why not meet new people.
I am a 26yo guy, but I am open to join in with anyone. I am very open to anything, happy to have a more chill night or a wild af night 🤣
Maidstone or Rochester preferred. Let me know if you're keen, looking forward to it!
Anyone know how to get into the old cinema next to the bingo Hall? Or any other abandoned places in Maidstone?
Hi,
We are planning to move away from London towards Maidstone and looking for some recommendations on what are the nice and quite areas in London.
We have 2 young boys (primary school) and looking for a suburb with low-crime, and easy access to schools. I have to commute to London occasionally, so somewhat close to a station is preferred but this is not a must.
My research points towards Bearsted, Detling area. But someone mentioned Penenden Heath and it seems much more affordable compared to Bearsted. There are some nice properties listed along Boxley road area and would love to hear your thoughts about this area.

As said in the title, is there a place where I can buy cigars? (sorry for the flair, not sure which one to use)
I can't seem to find any info regarding whether they'll accept a van on site or if they have a height limit. Does anyone have any idea?
Dont have anywhere to post this so i thought i would try reddit. The waste contract changes over end of this month and well, its impossible to complete the work with the new contract and i stated this as long as a year ago. Here are a few points as to why.
Just a heads up. I would clear out any extra rubbish if you can its going to be a while before they fix anything.
I know nobody will probably reply on here but figured I'd try,
I'm looking for locations in maidstone to possibly make a short film but can't find any places online
