Ok, so Audacity got an update, and I begrudgingly updated it just to get the notification to stop popping up. I am not at all knowledgeable in the finer details of music files and what not, but I use Audacity strictly for the purpose of making some music mods for UMVC3.
For those who want some details on how I do it, I insert an MP3 file that I want to make into music for the game into Audacity, then I edit it how I want until I think that would sound good for the game in terms of loops and proper start time etc. Then, I add 5 empty Stereo Tracks, because that is the thing that I was told from a guide that it requires in order to work correctly. Then, I export the audio as an OGG file, I set the Track mapping to 2 instead of 14, I save it as 48000Hz, while editing the metadata by adding 3 new columns as I save it as a new file. The columns are:
Ver | 0002
LoopStart | (Wherever the start point is in "Samples")
LoopEnd | (Wherever the end point is in "Samples")
It was as simple as that, and then I would simply change the file format via File Explorer from "ogg" to "sngw". Then I would drag and drop, and it worked every single time I made a new file. Now, all of a sudden, upon doing that same method, the music no longer sounds anything remotely how it should. It sounds WAY louder than it should and is always playing the song at a drastically sped up pace with a remarkably high pitched tone to every note. It's awful.
Does anyone know a new method since the Audacity developers and I are both at an IQ deficit?
Update: Actually, I coulda sworn upon further thought that it was 6 STEREO tracks to be added (as I said, I am not good with this), not 5. Either way, I tried 6 as well just this morning... same exact result.
Update 2: Ok, so apparently, setting it up to 144000 Hz makes it sound normal... however, now the loop isn't working right, so now I gotta figure that out.
I keep seeing this way and that or videos telling me to download this and then that and other videos telling me to install this and drag and drop that but I don't understand, I just want ichigo on my dante bro
I need a mod that removes background elements.
My UMVC3 keeps chigging when i try to play faster
Honestly wouldnt even have to be over DOOM, could be over anyone
Recently downloaded Havengers Tournament Clone Engine off of Nexus Mods for UMVC3 on Steam and while it worked at first, upon booting the game up a day later I'm met with a black screen, the game not responding, and then an error message of "Fatal Error: err08 memory overrun". I've tried deleting and reinstalling the game, restarting my laptop, removing all the modded game files, and yet nothing changes. Trying to google the error code has gotten me nowhere. Has this happened to anybody else and if so, any advice or solutions?
Hey guys!
I have a custom designed 2TB Retrobat build that I run on my gaming PC. Within this build, I have a non-Steam copy of UMVC3 that runs great.
What I'm looking to do is, I want to install the HAVENGERS Clone Engine Tournament Build Mod to this copy of the game, that way when my friends and I happen to play this game on my retro games drive, we can have a great time with all the additional content that the mod provides.
Last night, I attempted to install this mod to my copy of the game, but the game crashes every time I launch it. Based on my research, this is because of my version of the copy of the game. Apparently it is not the most updated recent version.
Since then, I purchased a copy of the game on Steam and had no issues installing or running the mods there, which is great. However, I do not want to run the Steam version of this game on my Retrobat build. This drive is mobile and travels around with me. I want everything on this drive to be self-contained and not require other software like Steam to launch in order to play ANY games on it.
I am aware that these mods sometimes outright state that the Steam version of the game is required for the mods to work properly, but is there ANYONE out there that has gotten it to run on a non-Steam copy of the game?
If so, I would love some advice. I saw someone on a Youtube comment claim that they got a cracked version of the game to accept the mods by swapping the steam_api64.dll file from the cracked version, but that didn't work for me.
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me out!
Was gonna ask this over on the Discord, but it seems like it's currently locked down to prevent bot joins, so I'll ask here instead (plus it helps with anyone else Googling around trying to answer this question).
So I know that the subreddit's wiki already states this isn't possible, but A. that post is several years old and B. there's been clearly tons of progress made with modding Marvel 3 since then, so I wanted to ask. Does anyone know if it's possible to take a stage from Marvel 3, export it, and then import it into Blender?
For context: I'm not trying to modify the stage in Marvel 3 or anything, all I want to do is import it from Marvel 3 into Blender. I can view the stage's data using ThreeWorkTool and export textures and raw files just fine, but I couldn't find anything about exporting meshes, location data, possibly animation data (though I'm not banking on that part), etc etc.
Probably a dumb question but I figured I would ask it as I saw nothing saying "hey using both will break your game" but I assume it will. I figured I would play it on the safer side and ask if anyone has and if it did so. If not then I will install both. Once again sorry for what is most likely a dumb question.
I'm talking the Classic Megaman, not X. Has someone made him yet?
I found one from a guy name Xeno but it is pretty bad now adays, the links are not there and when I found the proper links, it requires 3ds max which is like 1k but it does say Blender version coming soon, is there a blender version?
I installed the MVC scream mod and didn't know it replaced the main menu background and ost how do I get the original files back??
I greatly prefer the intro and credits for vanilla mvc3 and I couldn’t find a mod for it
He says the wrong one for Spencer, he already had one in vanilla MVC3.
Does anyone have a link to the Modding/EX team discord? Every link I find seems to be expired.
OK, I play against the AI a lot and sometimes I don't want to have to play through a whole arcade mode playthrough, sometimes I just wanna do single fights then go back to the screen. Unfortunately this game was made before they started letting you do that in Capcom fighting games. Is there a mod that allows you to fight the AI in single versus fights? And if not, how hard would it be to create?
