My wife is not interested in religion, or spirituality. She does like to read and loves GOT, Eye of the World series, Harry Potter, LOTR, and those types of books. I haven't read the Mahabharata, but intend to once I finish Srimad Bhagavatam. I was thinking of getting her the modern revision by Ramesh Menon (I am reading his translation of Srimad Bhagavatam currently). Do you think she would enjoy it? Also, curious if it would make her more interested in Indian philosophy/spiritualism?
Mahabharata is such a vast and amazing story, so many life lessons and advices by God himself. If and that's a big if, someone as good as GOT crew picked it up, it will undoubtedly be the best thing in the world.
What do you guys think?
