Think my wife would like Mahabharata?

My wife is not interested in religion, or spirituality. She does like to read and loves GOT, Eye of the World series, Harry Potter, LOTR, and those types of books. I haven't read the Mahabharata, but intend to once I finish Srimad Bhagavatam. I was thinking of getting her the modern revision by Ramesh Menon (I am reading his translation of Srimad Bhagavatam currently). Do you think she would enjoy it? Also, curious if it would make her more interested in Indian philosophy/spiritualism?

If you enjoy complex, character-driven series like ASOIAF or LOTR (or if you enjoy other Epic Poems like The Iliad or The Odyssey) you should check out the Indian Epic called "The Mahabharata".

If George RR Martin had written the Game of Thrones series during the ancient ages when Mahabharata (or other epics time frame), I wonder if we would have built temples for Khaleesi and her flying dragons and worshiped them like lord Krishna....

I honestly believe that if Mahabharata had a show with GOT level of crew, it will decimate all the medieval fantasy series in the world.

Mahabharata is such a vast and amazing story, so many life lessons and advices by God himself. If and that's a big if, someone as good as GOT crew picked it up, it will undoubtedly be the best thing in the world.

What do you guys think?
