Hi, new user here. I'm still struggle with trying to make the banking apps work as normal. At first when I hide root only using Zygisk Next, all apps doesn't to detect root but they detect unlocked bootloader, but when I installed all of these, they found root again, which is kinda weird.

What I have done:

- Zygisk & Enforce list OFF, add my apps to the list

- Installed Play Integrity Fork, Zygisk Assistant, Zygisk Next, Shamiko

And I'm using LineageOS 20, Android 13. Am I doing something wrong?

But for some reason, it didn't work for me. I can't have Integrity Wizard and Tricky Store modules at the same time. One has to be removed. If I use Integrity Wizard, it will be all green, "MEETS_STRONG_INTEGRITY," but if it is Tricky Store alone, it will be all red.

Edit I have Google pixel 6 android 15.

Is it possible to upgrade my pixel 7 to android 15 while retaining root and all my current apps, mods, and data?

So I have my phone with root (I'll tell all the setup later) and when I power it on, it has a (low) chance of booting normally or bootlooping, then when I wait 2 or 3 boots it sends me to TWRP and when rebooting to system from there works fine (doesn't work if I enter TWRP before the bootloop)

Setup: Magisk alpha with Shamiko, Systemless hosts, Tricky Store, Lsposed, Zygisk next, HMA and Magisk built-in BusyBox.

If it matters (probably not), device integrity and SafetyNet pass. Also the Live boot sometimes goes slower than normal and then reboot or just all red super fast.

So I was trying to install the magisk module for Dolby Atmos on my Google Pixel 6, but it says that the module is made for 32 bit audio service only, and this Rom uses 64 but audio service. Is there another equalizer I should be using, or a way to make it work anyway? I'm open to suggestions. Thanks!

• My phone is OnePlus 6 os 11.0
• Magisk version is 27.0
• I got play integrity fix and shamiko modules installed with zygisk turned on
• I've tried using "apply deny list" and "configure deny list" features into my bank app but once i try to open the app after cleaning cache, the app opens, freezes and leaves
• My bank app, without those options turned on, recognizes my phone is rooted and asks for a factory reset. But i know that it won't work since my phone is rooted anyways

I almost gave up on trying to make magisk undetectable to a banking app that I am using since it always, always gets detected even though it had no problems for months now. Must be an app update.

However, when I tried to install the app on a work profile (I used Island for this one), it just works?? The app can't detect that the phone is rooted.

I can't tell what caused this to "fix" my problem. Is Magisk being detected as installed? I didn't try to rename magisk into another name so that might be the cause.

Anyone knows the technical reasons why banking app didn't detect root on Work Profile?

Until just recently I was passing hard now in Integrity Checker failing to pass the Meets Device Integrity and only Meets Basic Integrity is passing.

I want to download playintegtityfix. When i select Install form internal storage i can only select folders, any thing other is gray out including zips and apk. I enable zygisk and rebooted. I install magisk using adb sideload as apk (with 0.75xfer) and it works all apps i have.

Tried to sideload the apk through LineageOS recovery, no dice (and no errors at that other than not finding the preinit directory)

Tried patching boot.img and init_boot.img with Magisk and flashing those, still nothing.

Hi, today one of my friends has installed LineageOS on his tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e LTE) and he also wanted to install Magisk for patching play integrity and safety net and asked me to do it but I actually wonder if it will have some problems with OTAs updates. By searching the internet I found out that there is a way to update the system while keeping magisk (after reading this guide https:// topjohnwu.github.io/Magisk/ota.html) but the tablet doesn't have A/B partitions so installing the update on one slot and rooting the other is not possible and we also want to keep TWRP and we don't have a backup of the original recovery. What does happen if he installs an OTA update with magisk installed on it. Will it break (and for break I mean having to reinstall the rom after every update) or will it updade successfully removing magisk? If it updates removing magisk do we need to just reinstall magisk and the modules will still be there or will we need to reinstall them too? Thanks a lot.

After unlocking the Bootloader + root, As it is always stated that the unlocked + root device can be vulnerable for remote exploitation and other physically giving the phone issues. So are there any sort-of stuff to protect these? I'm pretty sure they exist.

Like for example any app or root, Magisk module that prevents you from adding, revoking and everything with an password in even not-expected areas like while flashing something via and maybe? I believe they exist, but where?

Fundamentally, AFAIK; for enhanced privacy with bootloader unlocked, we'll need root in-order to add modules to edit/add something system like as I said above, the password one. I am very genuinely want to know as I will be having LineageOS for professional Purpose and no traces/tracks.

I have zygisk next with safetynet its working with all banking apps but this app it detects the root although i have put it in denylist?

So I'm using these modules on pixel os 14 but device fails when using modules that modify keybox even though the key passes in key attestation. Have use tricky + tsuport advance/ integrity wizard and it never passes device or strong. From my understanding it may have something to do with the props modified by pixel os, but I'm not sure what to do. Here are my modules:

Need advice on removing FRP lock from a Samsung S24 ultra I bought from eBay. Seller did not mention the phone was locked with FRP, locked to Verizon which I don’t have and is still partially owed on the original account. Is there any hope for using this phone or should I sell for parts? Pretty sure there’s something called IMEI repair that might work and Samfw for FRP lock also. Any advice or resources on using these tools? I use Linux, will that work or do I need to reinstall windows? Phone is 256gb White variant not sure what android version or any other info. I reinstalled Lineage with BitGapps on my phone and my bank app doesn't work anymore. It used to work with Magisk with safetynet-fix and shamiko. Now those modules are discontinued and I have to use new modules.

I installed Magisk 27, enabled Zygisk and added only PlayIntegrityFix. I enabled the deny list and added the bank app and all Google services to it. I also enabled the option to hide Magisk and rename it. It passes Yasnac test, but the bank app still doesn't work.

The bank app starts. The problem occurs when I try to log in to my account. The app requests a photo of my face for the first log in. But before using the camera, the app reports an unknown problem and returns to the previous screen.

I don't need a rooted device, but I need root to bypass safetynet. I only need a way to use banking apps on an old device.

I have some questions about the current status of Magisk and banking apps.

1. The most recent stock rom for my device is Android 6. There are custom roms of Android from 8 up to 11 for my device. Do old Android versions have weaker anti-custom roms checks? Should I choose an old or a new Android version?

2. I use Yasnac to test safetynet, but it doesn't test if root is available, if the device has a custom rom and if it has strong integrity. What other apps can be used to test those other things?

3. Do I have to use other modules in addition to PlayIntegrityFix? There are a lot of other modules: MagiskHidePropsConf, sensitive_props, Zygisk-Next, Tricky-Store, systemless-hosts-KernelSU-module, PlayIntegrityFork. Some of them are deprecated.

4. What about Magisk forks: Kitsune, Magisk Alpha, etc?

After many tries, I've managed to hide ChatGPT and 8 Ball Pool (the apps I use most frequently) from root. It was tedious, but I got it working.

However, I have one issue with Garmin connect app. It absolutely refuses to connect to my smartwatch and I have a feeling it has something to do with the root.

I have tried hiding the app, both in Magisk and in HideMyApplist (without enforce denylist) and it still doesn't work.

Any suggestions, anyone?

This modified version now extracts only essential images—boot.img, init_boot.img, recovery.img, and vbmeta.img—instead of processing the full firmware. While the original tool can take around 5-10 minutes, this streamlined version completes the job in under 15 seconds.
