I don't understand why a company that has seen exponential profit in the past few years would have LESS incentive to give customers steep discounts and not MORE! Why are they acting like a CORPORATION and not a CHARITY? It's almost as if they're greedy or something!!

Makeup is a non-essential commodity, so it's DESPICABLE that Sephora holds people HOSTAGE with their treacherous rewards programs that we don't have to participate in at all. Will someone PLEASE think of the people spending THOUSANDS to get a measly $100 in points?

NO I cannot form a cohesive argument about capitalism and consumerism in a way that doesn't revolve around me getting more stuff. YES, we COULD criticize the beauty industry for its environmental impact or for promoting overconsumption or for animal cruelty or for reinforcing problematic beauty standards. how to look less disheveled and feral? any brand suggestions?

This is pretty much my everyday makeup look. A few people (mostly men) have said I’m wearing too much makeup, how much they hate my makeup, and some even said I look like a clown. I know it’s not for everybody, but I don’t understand how it’s so bad. This makeup makes me feel really confident. How does it look?

this is a joke on the fact that i’ve seen several people now ask for tips on their makeup, and they just look oily to the high heavens!!! a setting powder please!!!!!

Like how others have mentioned before on this sub, “vajazzle” is a gross word to me, and anyone juvenile enough to use it subsequently makes their opinion on crystal coochie invalid. (I feel the same way about “gyny” instead of “gynolecologist”, but that term doesn’t come up in bedazzling videos I watch.) More than that though, I really dislike the word “gorgina” because it’s an ugly, bastardized version of the beautiful word “gorgeous”, and honestly, beauty gurus say it with so much certitude I thought it was a legitimate term 🫣 Others have also said when beauty influencers say “the hoo-ha” instead of “my vulva” (i.e. “look at how this foundation perfectly buffs out on the hoo-ha”) it’s annoying too, and even though I didn’t feel that way on my own volition, I definitely notice that term more now! Do you feel the same way + are there any others that I’m not thinking of? I know it’s petty to find these terms as abysmal as I do but when influencers use them it suspends my ability to watch 😭
