I know about scg opens gps and pptqs but are there any other big higher level tornements in paper?
We are working on a website dedicated to many tools for Magic: The Gathering and we have now opened what we call the Tourney Hub. The Tourney Hub is for creating, managing and sharing swiss tourneys. With functions like Auto-Parings and Player name autocomplete. Sign up is easy with email or Social Media. You can get a feel for how it is without logging in by looking at the preview. All tournaments created are Private by default but can be set public and shared to for example Facebook to a group or a chat where players can look at standings and pairings. Pairings can also be printed out on paper. We are looking for feedback from Magic players on what they would like to see in a Tournament application and if they like what we have made so far. More functions to come in the future, there are already other previews of tools in the making.
Example of an ongoing Tournament: Tourney Hub

On February 5th at 6 PM CET (Noon EST), I am hosting another MASTERS on magic-league. The free-to-play magic-league tournaments are held online, players use Cockatrice to play their matches. Registration will be possible 1-2 hours before the tournament. You'll need a cockatrice account to play the matches and a magic-league account to register for the event with your Standard legal decklist.
Typically, the MASTERS are 5-6 Swiss rounds followed by a cut to Top8. The winner wins 25$.
For any rules questions or disagreements with your opponent, a team of judges is there to help you.
At the same time, the Pro Tour is played and broadcasted from Dublin, so you can watch that on twitch and play the tournament at the same time.
Magic-League has no affiliation with Hasbro/WotC. We use an intern (ELO rating) ranking system.
Located in Nuremburg. Got screwed out of a place to stay so I'm looking for some cool people to stay/hang with. I am playing in the modern event so playtesting would be cool.
