Welcome to CatCraft!

CatCraft is a smaller, LGBT+ friendly, adult only community focused Minecraft server.

We started Season 1 on April 4, 2019. With the launch of 1.18, we began Season 2 in December 2021 to make the most of the new biomes. Our intention is a long term world, with a slow world border expansion as new 1.X updates are released. Currently, we're running 1.21, with a world border set at 16k in every direction. Our server is hosted in Ashburn, VA, on the eastern seaboard of the USA.

While we're a small-ish community (usually between 30 and 80 total active members), the admin staff is passionate about keeping the server going and providing as many quality of life options as possible. On top of having a Survival server, we also have a Creative server with world edit, as well as an Event server on standby for (a hopeful!) monthly UHC, community planned events, or the occasional ModPack. Bluemap runs on both Creative and Survival, as well as a discord Chat Bot.

Server Rules

1. Don't be a dick. I really think this kind of sums up all the rules, but I'll spell it out.
2. Don't steal shit, dupe, or grief. See rule 1.
3. We're a strict 21+ server. We are not child friendly. Swearing is fine, within reason. If that makes you uncomfortable, we are not the place for you.
4. PVP is turned on. This is not an excuse to be an asshole and snipe people. Play fair, help the loser pick up their stuff, and return all the things. See rule 1.
5. No hacking. No x-ray. No duping. No forcefield. Whatever might give you an unfair advantage.
6. Pranking is fine, within reason. Don't destroy someone's shit, or cover it with TNT and call it a prank.
7. In your application, please include your favorite breed of cat.
8. Patch up creeper holes, fully chop down trees, and don't leave dirt towers around. We all have to live here, let's try to keep it pretty looking.
9. Sign your stuff, keep the server easy to navigate.
10. Don't kill withers in the over-world. Just don't. It never goes well. Under the end portal please.

Finalwind is a server that expands Minecraft's endgame by adding custom items such as weapons, armor, and tools, and expands on content by adding things like daily events, quests, custom wild loot tables, and an economy.

How many times have you loaded into a survival server, just to beat the ender dragon, obtain netherite armor, then quit? While Minecraft has a lot of content, this ends fairly fast if you play often. Finalwind is a server that effectively creates endless content for players by adding clans, custom armor and weapons (some of which are very hard to obtain, and give a considerable advantage in PvP), events, and quests. Through this, a player is never 'out of things to do' as you might find yourself doing on a vanilla server. Hello Guys! A week ago we started a brand new SMP called Border Survival. A game where your experience is limited (Literally).

In this game the players all share a world of 500 x 500 blocks. Limited by a worldborder. Earn tokens by building, selling materials or competing in special events. These tokens can be used to either buy yourself some resources, custom items or help expanding the worldborder!

Expanding the border gives more opportunities for resources and building space. We also have villagers who sell a lot of custom items like Armor, tools, weapons or devices! Please note that you don't have to be a Minecraft expert. It's mostly about having a good time!

Drop Heads - Players always drop their head when killed by another player. Mobs have a chance of dropping their heads when killed by a player.

Pandamium's snapshot server is a experimental, vanilla, SMP server that updates to every new snapshot with all experiments enabled. Be one of the first to play with brand new features and learn more about the game with friends!

Our aim is to update to every new snapshot that comes out (usually every Wednesday) with experimental features enabled such as bundles, and 1.21 content! We discuss new and upcoming features, and host watch parties for Minecraft Live every year! If you join now you will be able to experiment with the Creaking, Pale Garden and its white Pale Oak Wood set, dyeable bundles, the minecart improvements experiment, resin and so much more!

We have a very friendly community and multiple towns to join with a diamond-based trading economy. Since the height of our popularity from 2019 to 2022, the community has gotten a bit smaller but we still average around 10 players online at any given time. We reset the End every month to allow for exploration of end cities for new players, and we run an enchanced dragon fight once per month with a dragon egg up for grabs, but we aim to never reset the overworld and nether.

We use Carpet and Lithium for performance and a couple of tweaks, as well as a mod for linking the Discord and Minecraft servers but, other than that, everything is data-pack-driven using the latest tech introduced in the snapshots! The server features we have are:

Welcome to the Shacknews SMP!

Shacknews SMP is an old school SMP server formed around the Shacknews gaming community. We’re looking for other like minded adults to join our server! 

Our community started running a Minecraft server back in the Alpha versions in 2010.  Our server is PvE focused mostly on building projects/bases, redstone farms and just general playing Minecraft with friends, we’re all pretty laid back here.  Pretty much a Vanilla+ server here, no P2W, server boosting, ranks or anything like that on this server.

Our server is currently running a custom-made Fabric Modpack on Java v1.21.1. The modpack could basically be categorized as Vanilla++ with some good QoL mods and a few storage & tech mods thrown in! The world on our server was reset around the release of 1.21, so the world is semi-fresh. There is some development around spawn, but most of the world is pretty much untouched.

In the past we usually reset the world for our server on every major Minecraft release for a fresh start.  Contingent on there being major changes that warrant a world reset.  With Mojang recently announcing they’re moving to smaller, more frequent updates. We’ll have to evaluate that when content drops come out and take a vote.
