I’m reaching out with a humble request for help during a difficult time. My sweet cat, Waliti, recently had a medical emergency and needed urgent care. Thankfully, he is on the mend now, but the unexpected vet bills were much higher than I anticipated, and it’s put a serious strain on my finances.
Waliti is more than just a pet to me—she’s my companion and family. Seeing him sick was heartbreaking, but I’m so grateful he is recovering well. However, between covering the emergency treatment and managing my regular expenses, I’m struggling to afford his food and treats right now.
If anyone has extra cat food or treats they can spare, it would make such a difference for us. I’m happy to pick them up locally if needed. Any kind of food or treats would be greatly appreciated—I just want to make sure Waliti stays happy and healthy as he continues to heal.
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. Your support means the world to both of us during this tough time..
Hello fellow outdoors people! I have my niece visiting and want to take her out and about and love the button rock trail with shade and water but worried about smoke from Loveland. Does anyone know if that area is accessible and clear for the most part?
Stopped in tonight on the way back to Estes Park for a beer & burger and didn’t know they did a Tuesday night musicians circle. Turns out there were tons of bluegrass folks in town for the Rockygrass Academy week and a lot came into the circle tonight. It was a lot of fun to see & hear. Thanks Oskar Blues!
I was out exploring today and found an old concrete foundation/walls and what looks like used to be maybe pipes along the creek? What did that used to be?
Who are people using for their internet in Lyons these days and what do you think of them? Who is the most reliable and fastest? I'm having trouble finding info about this for a house that is just southwest of town.
My partner and I live in Boulder, and are looking for non-luxury properties to rent. We’re thinking apartments and maybe small homes. We’ve also been looking a renting a mobile home. Is there a good website for us to find them? Or do we have to walk around and look at ads? Wondering where to start looking.
After being locked for 8 months, this sub is now once more open for business.
I'm in the process of storing a bunch of things long-term in a shed in Lyons. Currently I have clothes and books in cardboard boxes. Is this a bad idea? Are mice going to get into stuff in the winter?
Is uber reliable in Lyons? going there for a event, which should be ending around 11pm on a Saturday. We are concerned with finding safe transportation home. Thanks for the info.
Does anyone have one or two tickets to folk fest that I could buy?
Anyone know if there is any snow at Hall Ranch?
My fiance and I are looking to make a move to Lyons and hoping to connect with people in the hunt to find housing.
We currently live in a small town and know that word of mouth is the most efficient for finding a place, so I was hoping someone in this group could help point me in the right direction on who to reach out to. (We are already working with a realtor.)
On the off-chance you know anyone selling or considering selling their house, particularly in the downtown area, please let me know!
Stay frosty, Lyons.
