I'm using the Lutris option "Switch to US Keyboard Layout" because I've been using Colemak. It's grate because I don't have to rebind every key in every game, and it switches back when the game closes.
Except the global hotkeys in Mint stay confused. I'm a frequent user of Super+E to open the file explorer and (Suprise!) now that hotkey has moved across the keyboard.
Has anyone ever dealt with this or maybe have a way to, I don't know, restart Cinnamon's keyboard listener or something?
It's worth mentioning that I'm using the system package, not the flatpak, and rebooting fixes it.
Edit: Problem solved thank you
Hi everyone,
I have a Steam Deck and yesterday I was installing a windows game on Linux. The install went pretty well and everything run good but the only problem that I have is there is no text. Every menu works and I can play but without text is not playable. Just wondering if anyone had the same problem and maybe have a fix for that. Thanks

Thanks.
Some of my GoG games install and run fine, and others do nothing at all when I try to run them. I'm fairly new to Lutris, and I'm not even sure where to start. Outside of the usual advice, (ie, "try googling") how do you go about troubleshooting Lutris games which install without error, but never run correctly?

Tried running the .sh manually from the command line, and lack of a FLAC library was the ultimate issue. Had to modify the command here to fit my distro, but ultimately this worked for me:
https://www.gog.com/forum/crypt_of_the_necrodancer/solved_libflacso8_error_on_arch_linux
sudo ln -s /usr/lib64/libFLAC.so.12.1.0 /usr/lib64/libFLAC.so.8
Hi, looks like there are not many examples of yamls - for the games outside any store - and no such checkbox in search :(
No way to grep existing scripts? They are not in git, I know :(

Thanks for the help.
The only sources i have are the ones in the photo and i cant figure out where to get gog and epic as sources.
I've got a log that just says "Exit with return code 2304"
Googling this doesn't reveal anything remotely related to what 2304 actually is.
Same with many other return codes I've Googled.
Hi all, I can’t seem to find battle.net on Lutris. I thought it used to be in there?
I'm trying to install Stalker Anomaly with the EFP Modpack and after downloading it stops with the following output:
Started initial process 305380 from /usr/bin/bash -c mkdir /home/toni/Games/stalker-anomaly-efp/drive_c/EFP
Start monitoring process.
Monitored process exited.
Initial process has exited (return code: 0)
All processes have quit
Exit with return code 0

Start monitoring process.

This is my first Time using Lutris and i found nothing that matches my problem online. All help is appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
I need help. More than a few of the games I own on GoG have old Linux versions. Lutris defaults to trying to install the Linux versions, however I want to to install the Windows versions. Is there anyway to change which version Litris installs without doing it manually?
Hi everyone,
I have a little problem with Lutris that i can't understand. In fact, i using it on my Steam deck and when i launch a game from the folder which is in the SSD the game start well without no problem. But, when i move the game folder on my sd card i just change the executable path and the game doesn't start and it's the same for each games.
But something is clearly weird because when i add some games directly on Steam (non-steam games) some games, not all, will start sometimes but it's bothering me because i would like for all games to start thanks the Lutris library
I already tried and additional info : -Installing the componants that the game asks (here you have the exemple of lollipop Chainsaw. This message doesn't appear when i start the from lutris the SSD) -My sd card is well formated in ext4.
TLDR : In Lutris, games will start when the folder is on the SSD but not when is in the SD card with the same configuration
I was installing Ultimate Spider man with the iso file.
I mounted the iso and installed the game from lutris and selected the mounted iso.
After some regular isntallation process I came to this.
Now, What??????
Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if there's a way to automatically close the Epic Games Launcher after quitting a game (like Farming Simulator 22) and letting the cloud saves finish first. I've already disabled "Minimize to system tray," but I still have to manually close the launcher every time.
Is there a way to streamline this process? Maybe a script or a setting I'm missing?
I am on a Steamdeck.
Thanks in advance!
Hello, I'm trying to get a real optical drive to be accesible inside a Windows .exe install in Lutris, Fedora 41 workstation:
wine-9.15 (Staging)
lutris-0.5.17
I tried with ImgBurn 2.5.8.0, which is a burning software for Windows, the program runs when in Windows XP compatibility mode (it doesn't with either Windows 7 or Windows 10), but my real BD drive doesn't appear inside it, even after adding the mount point as device D:
While looking up documentation for optical drives in Wine/Lutris, I found mostly the advice to make an ISO image of the disk instead of trying to use the real drive, so I'm wondering if it's actually possible before I keep trying to, I read it was possible years ago (Wine 6) but maybe it's not possible anymore due to Wine or current Fedora.
Thank you
Anyone able to download the GOG release? Lutris says there's no installers and I'm new to Linux so I'm not sure how else to go about installing it.
I have not had issue with World of Warships for years now, but all of a sudden it is giving me a ton of pain. For months it has not let me log in via the client although my web account was fine. The other day I tried 2 or 3 things including reinstalling it a number of times and for some reason, I could get logged in again. Not sure what fixed it. HOWEVER, this is only while I have it installing. It installs the launcher fine, installs the game fine, but Lutris never recognizes that the install is complete. So once I close the game I am left with only one option. Abort. If I click abort and save files, It still doesn't show up as a game in the library. Is there a way to tell Lutris to just look at the install it did and add the library item after the fact?
System: Ubuntu 24.10 - AMD 9800X3D, Nvidia RTX4800
I start the game (Battlenet.launcher under Lutris) and it opens normally in full screen and runs smoothly, I can also see the mouse pointer, but I can't click on anything, the game only reacts to keyboard input. For example, if a browser window is open in the background and I click on a button in the game, the browser window in the background jumps to the front.
I have attached screenshots of the current Lutris configuration.
can anybody help me?
I've been trying for hours to play one of my games from gamejolt. It requires rpgvxace in order to run. No matter what I try, it doesn't run. Help!!
Hello I am a steam deck user and I'm struggling with this. I've installed and linked my accounts, GoG, Amazon Prime Gaming, Steam etc etc, whatever accounts I need to. However, only a handful of my Steam games appear in my Lutris library (not an issue, i can access them through the Deck) but none of my GoG or Epic games appear in the lutris library even though the accounts are linked.
Advise for a non-technical person much appreciated
I'm on fedora 41, and on my pc when I open a game they'll open as Lutris instead of as their game name (which makes the alt tab menu slightly more inconvenient to use)
On my laptop (running fedora as well) this isn't an issue, and it will open as its own application
I'm running Linux Mint I have no more space on my laptop anymore and I have all the set up files and stuff on an SD card from my old windows set up but is there anyway instead of putting the game on my system hard drive on to an SD card like installing them on to that or is that not possible? Like through wine and lutris
Hi i used Manjaro Linux and i have Lutris installed via flatpak my system say's org.gnome.Platform branch 45 ist end-of-life and org.gnome.Platform.Compat.i386 branch 45 ist end-of-life how update my flatpak-Lutris or can thus only the application developer?
I recently installed Linux Mint on a 2020 Macbook Air and have no idea what I'm doing. I installed Rocket League through Lutris, but when I try to launch it, my computer pretty much freezes. When I try moving the mouse, it's super delayed and slow. The Rocket League icon shows up in the Panel with other active apps, but as far as I can tell, it never actually opens. Only way to get it back to normal is by restarting the computer.
It's a strange kind of stutter, because it is always in the same places of the audio file/dialogue. Like there is a monologue
> Something... Something... screams.
Then that last word 'screams' gets repeated twice. And some of the audio just cuts before it is finished.
I checked those audio files in the OS(they are unpacked in game folder) and it plays flawlesly from the system.
It's old game Daemonica from 2006. And the problem only affects spoken dialogue not the music. Do you know what settings I might adjust to make it play properly?
I am getting "you have been blocked" from the website and can't find any games on the search in the program.
I tried browsing to the site on my phone and I am getting the same message as the site.
anything going on with the site?
I don't know what I'm doing wrong or what's going on. Lutris installs used to be so easy.
I had to reformat my computer for various reasons, and then I went to instlal my games library via lutris (something I've been using and donating to for years). However the installation ends with "Command exited with code 256" with the only option being to abort installation.
Can anyone tell me what's going on and more importantly, hwo to fix it?
This is the only game I have that has a DLSS setting, so I don't know if it is a persistent problem.
I have NVAPI/DLSS enabled in the Runner Options.
I also have the following Environmental variables enabled:
DXVK_ASYNC=1
VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr
DLSS did not function before or after I added those Environmental variables
While this is not a critical issue, I have been having various other performance issues with games and I am wondering if this may be related.
My Laptop:
Pop! OS
Ryzen 5, 16GB RAM
RTX 4050
Any Help would be appreciated.
