you can probably tell which part of London I have not lived in lol https://london.metro-memory.com
My phone was snatched this morning in Hounslow West Station just as the tube was about to leave. It was around 06:30 this morning. It’s an iPhone 16 Pro Max in Desert Titanium. Please be careful if someone sells it, I’m happy to give a reward! I’ve got Find My iPhone on it and have marked it as lost phone. Also, be mindful with your belongings as police told me that the pickpockets are back again and rampant now (Christmas season). Thank you so much!!
I travel on the Piccadilly Line daily so we get a lot of Heathrow travellers. I know I ought not to laugh but... There are tourists from countries with polite modern trains - the ones with sensitive sensors (the trains not the tourists) - and when the doors are closing, they shove their arms or bags in the way expecting them to spring open immediately, to allow them to hold up the train to get on. Instead the doors just jam the arm or bag in their vice-like grip, astonishing the tourist. The driver makes a justifiably sarcastic announcement about selfishness and delays. The other passengers give them the side eye, with matching sigh, and the tourists nurse their squished arms, bags and feelings. Part of me wishes we had polite door sensors which aim to avoid injury, and other other part giggles inwardly. Giggle or sympathy?
The whole day the status update has looked very pretty in my opinion. The late addition of the Jubilee line has sort of… made it a bit less aesthetically pleasing but it’s the kind of palate I’d paint my bathroom. I like it!
Mods hope this is ok, thought it might be of interest to tube lovers. 2025 London Underground calendar featuring 12 months of tube lines (+ Elizabeth!) in a minimalist style.

Also anyone else getting annoyed at the misspelling of Surrey Quays?
I had just got off at Shadwell heading southbound when all trains stopped moving, even one stopping just short of Shadwell northbound. Anyone know why this would have happened for the northbound? The signal was green and it wasn't heading toward Surrey Quays.
Now that the Overground have different names wonder if the update the game to include them
