Check out SNL Transcripts for some cool info on SNL and a whole lotta transcripts. SNL Archives is pretty awesome too.

Probably the most underappreciated recurring bit the show has ever produced. Seth Meyers even shouted it out on Neal Brennan's podcast.
New York people - stumbled across this and I don’t know if anyone else has posted it, so thought, might as well
I'm guess yes. It's one of the most success bits of SNL at the moment.
I don't think there are a lot of good options from the current cast. Maybe put Sarah on with Colin for a year while they groom someone else to put on with Sarah? I'm not sure who I would put with Sarah from the current cast, but she would be my pick. Keenan has been around for a while, maybe give him a year of weekend update before he retires. Obviously I know he is amazing in sketches but why not.
I was downvoted for saying Che and Jost have been around too long, even though I said I liked them, and even though they are the longest tenured members of weekend update. I think Sarah Sherman would be a good option from the current cast for weekend update, but I think she would need a cohost to offset her high energy.
This, among other things, got me thinking that saying anything negative about the show/cast is frowned upon on this sub, even if it comes from a good place.
So I figured I would start this thread for people to share their unpopular opinions. I shared a negative one above, and I'll share a positive one as well. Andrew dismukes is highly underrated. I love his sketches. He's a great writer.
Not including musical guests like Paul Simon, etc., name the first member of the cast and crew of SNL to write a Top 10 song on the Billboard charts. Can be any chart.
Preparing to record our next episode of We Heart Hader podcast and I am lost on two game show host names
Super Showcase: I don't recall him ever saying his name
Million Dollar Wheel: Too quick for me to catch. Kinda sounds like Rake Cardigan?
Can anyone help?
When it comes to discussing the pacing of sketches, when we feel there could have been alterations made, it almost always comes down to thinking the sketch went on a bit too long and could have benefitted from being trimmed down.
I wanted to ask if you ever felt the reverse of that-that a sketch was funny precisely because it went on for a while (I'm thinking 5 minutes or more), or a sketch you wish had gone on for longer?
Fly High Duluth goes on for 7 minutes, but it manages to be consistently hilarious throughout imo because of Forte's performance.
What about you guys?
I wanted to say in IN JUMANJI JUMANJI, JUMANJI COMES OUT
I’d like to rewatch most memorable episodes, or at least memorable sketches and musical guest appearances to get even more excited for the upcoming specials! What are some of your must watch moments? I can’t wait for 2/16!
Kenan has been on the show the entire time I've watched it and I've become so used to it that I take for granted just how long he's been on. To put his 22 year stint in perspective, if he had been on the original cast, he would've been on the show with both Chevy Chase and Will Ferrell. That's genuinely insane to think about.
Did anyone else not have all of their content available after the tour? I'm missing my monologue intro and my d*ck in a box video looks like in was taken with a disposable camera with Vaseline on the lens. They told me email snlexperience@experiencenve.com, which I did on Friday, but still have not received a response. Has anyone received a response from them or seen their content come on their page after the fact? Really bummed I may not get the videos.
Sam Kinison's Debut performance on SNL.
Is there a website or good online source for finding out when the next live SNL is and who is hosting? For example today is Monday February 3, 2025 and I can't seem to find out anywhere if there is a new show this week and who the host is. IMDB lists Zoe Kravitz as the host for 2/8/25 but I'm pretty sure this is incorrect since no other site confirms this.
