Hi there! My daughter is turning 1 and I thought I had everything all planned out until last night. My husband asked me what I planned to serve for Kosher food and Gluten free since some of our guests are Jewish and others are Celiacs. I am getting pizza for everyone else (not kosher and has no options for either of the items I am looking for) and have cute custom cupcakes being made with a few gluten free. I am trying to find Kosher pizza and Gluten free pizza in Littleton I can get delivered to the venue. Any suggestions?
Hi! I actually live in Centennial but that sub seems dead, so I was hoping someone here might be able to help? I'm looking for a quiet restaurant to study in that's open late at night. The libraries around here close early on the weekends, and most other places to eat close at 8pm and they're very lively and loud. I'm based around University/Arapahoe/County Line and can't go much farther out than that. But I really need someplace to go, to eat and study after dark. At least until around 10pm. Any suggestions?
Can anyone recommend a good local carpenter?
Anyone have a cleaning person they can recommend that's thorough in the area?
I’m a North Carolina nanny who will be temporarily living in Littleton during the month of February and I’m looking for the following:
A gym (one with a peloton or spin classes would be a plus!) Places to get NA beverages (I’m two years sober). Places to walk/hike. Thrift stores. Vegetarian/pescatarian food recommendations.
Oh, Littleton, Colorado—the suburb that thinks it’s a city but is really just Denver’s backyard trying to gussy itself up. You’ve got the charm of a Hallmark movie set, but only if the plot revolves around HOA disputes and overpriced brunch. Your “historic downtown” is cute, sure, but let’s be honest: it’s just a handful of boutiques and a craft brewery for people who want to feel artsy while avoiding actual art.
And speaking of breweries, how many IPAs do you need, Littleton? Are you trying to win some sort of hops-based arms race? Your beer scene screams “I’m edgy,” but your residents scream, “I have a Costco membership and a lawn service.”
Then there’s your endless love affair with the mountains—yes, they’re gorgeous, but claiming you’re “a mountain town” when the closest you get to nature is a Subaru with a roof rack is a bit much. Let’s not forget that most of your hikes are just Instagram backdrops for pumpkin spice lattes and yoga pants.
Littleton: where everyone knows your name—because they saw it on your mailbox while jogging by.
Hello what are some well known tattoo places? Looking to get a purple daisy with some butterflies. Any suggestions on places would be greatly appreciated!!
Is there a place that boils crawfish around here - but from live not frozen.
Like the post says we are potentially moving out to Colorado and are coming out in late February to do some exploring and getting a feel for the area. We would be renting for a year to really make sure it is where we would like to be. We would be mid-west transplants, have some friends out there, a growing family, love hiking, and a feeling of community. Would love to get thoughts from people who currently live there! Here is a list of our like-to-haves in an area:
|| || |Walkable, nice sidewalks|Walkable to grocery store| |Short walk to nice park(s)|Walkable to restaurants/coffee| |Able to go on nice runs|Walkable to library, gym, rec centers| |Hiking trails walkable or short drive (<10 min)|Walkable to daycare, elementary| |Family-friendly, safe, diverse|Park with swimming lake/pool| |Short drive (<5 min) good grocery store|<30 min to airport| |Community center|Close to public transit| |Public library|| |Good daycare/childcare||
We're in the process of buying a 21ish' camper next month. See lots of options for storing it, especially off Santa Fe in Highlands Ranch -- anyone have recommendations? I've also heard of some people privately renting spaces, which would be cool too
What are other parents of preschool age kids doing for summer child care?
We are looking into options this summer for our youngest who will be 4. He attends LPS preschool during the school year and we are having a hard time finding full day care programs for just the summer for his age group. Previously we had a nanny for him and his older brother, but our oldest can participate in the day program at his elementary school now. Just wondering what other local parents do during the summer for their kids in the public preschool program!
I learned today that yet another small, local business, Just Love Coffee is shutting down.
Why does Littleton only like chain restaurants? Why can’t we keep any small businesses open here?
I have never lived anywhere with so many chains just taking over. There is no where left it feels like. All Littleton has left is fast food chain restaurants.
Can someone please explain this? I’m genuinely curious why the mom and pop stores aren’t staying open in Littleton and why there are soooo many chains.
I was wondering if anyone has experience with pond hockey in Littleton? I grew up here (playing at Edge Ice Arena) but never really played pond hockey until I was in the military stationed in Maine, and now that I've moved back and I see the ice anglers out on Chatfield, I'm wondering if it's feasible... this part of Colorado doesn't really have the sustained cold without warmer temps moving in that Maine does, but I figure if it's safe enough for fishing, it's probably safe enough to hockey right?
Haven't lived here long enough to know who to use. I have 2 cats and will be out of town for a week. Any suggestions?
Has anyone had surgery for a torn hip labrum? Did you have arthroscopic surgery and would you recommend your orthopedic surgeon?
We currently have out 1yo in daycare, but we are interested in looking into local in-home daycare providers. Where does one look? It seems looking online doesn't provide many real options.

I've posted for surgeon recs but in the meantime does anyone have a recommendation for a pelvic floor PT who works with patients with chronic anal fissure (or hemorrhoids).
I don't have anyone to ask for such a specific recommendation and my doctor's office just gave me a list of places. (From previous experience, not all pelvic floor PTs are helpful but good one's are great)
Appreciate any specific recommendations and feel free to send a message if you don't want to comment.
I am starting to fandom group dedicated to Doctor Who that is local. I tried to host in the past and found little to no interest.
I am often off Mondays and Thursdays, and will have the first central luncheon on 16th Street Mall on February 13th. If you are interested in the meet up, message me for details.
This is a group that is very friendly to families and also kids just getting into the show.
At Broadway and Dry Creek. Went for the first time tonight. Opened about a month ago. Good menu and friendly staff. A really nice alternative to Lazy Dog in that it’s a comparable price point and family friendly. Definitely recommend giving it a try.
I recently posted about this. I am moving from FL to CO on Wednesday 1/22. I will be driving and sleeping in my car. I was taking the southern route to avoid weather, but now it looks like I am gonna be running into a winter storm. What do yall think?
- Wednesday: St.Petersburg, FL to Mobile, AL
- Thursday: Mobile, AL to Shreveport, LA
- Friday: Shreveport, LA to Amarillo, TX
- Saturday: Amarillo, TX to Denver, CO
Gotta be honest, based on the outside of this joint I'm not inclined to try it, but unless they're laundering money they must be doing something right?
Hello, 👋, I am thinking to move to Sterling Ranch area, and I am looking at potential builders, are there any builders better to avoid? The absolute worst ones? Thank you for all the help!
It looks like this used to be a spur line off the main line near the rtd station and that’s what the wheels are commemorating. Does anyone have any history of the line like when it was abandoned, where it went or what it was used for? It is a Pokémon go stop and looks like there used to be a sign there.
I am a recent college grad and just moved to the are. I'm looking to meet some new friends, but I'm more of an introvert and prefer small groups to large social scenes. Does anyone know of any book clubs in the area or other introvert-friendly groups/events to meet some great people?
