I tried installing the USB driver as u/saint-lascivious and u/st4n13l suggested. The Google page redirected to a Chinese forum where a user shared a driver, with I downloaded. I went to the device manager to install them; at first it said that my computer had the best drivers for my device, but I installed the drivers from the top bar, where it asks for a disk, and I got an error that the hash was wrong.

I found a user online where he shared the Xioami drivers along with MiFlash to install them, and DriverStoreExplorer to make sure they are installed. All of this went without complications, except entering the BIOS to disable the Secure Mode so I could put this command in the shell to let me install the drivers:

bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS

bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON

I downloaded the last Lineage Nightly img from the Lineage page for my device, and I follower the guide one more time, but I'm stuck at sideloading as my computer still doesn't recognize my mobile in recovery mode.

I have been trying this for a month without any result. I learned a lot in the way but I don't see how to proceed. I apreciate any comment or suggestion.

Hey guys, Yesterday I switched from Android 13 stock to lineageos 21 on my Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5g (Renoir). It's awesome but I'm missing one thing. On my stock android I could set that apps only opened with pin or fingerprint. That j found out. I just miss that the notification content of that apps are hidden. Like Whatsapp was then 2 messages in 1 chat for example. How I can get it back?

Who are the LineageOS developers? are they trustable? they're not on GIthub and they don't reveal the source codes of LineageOS. Have you guys ever experienced hacking when using LineageOS? how safe is LineageOS? and would you login to all of your banking apps on LineageOS? I hope no one is monitoring user's keyboard inputs on LineageOS.

Rubik font is pretty but ubuntu font is prettier - I love the rounded corners. According to this I should put the font in /system/fonts and edit /system/etc/fonts.xml https://xdaforums.com/t/how-to-change-system-wide-fonts-in-lineageos.3911652/. However the file says https://paste.rs/By8St.xml It suggests that I should edit platform/frameworks/base/data/font_fallback.xml I couldn't find that file. I've also searched the settings app source code to find out what file it actually changes with no sucess either. Where do I change the font to Ubuntu?

Well, I wanted to know if there is a Lineage version for it since it exists for the Nokia 8, I know they are not the same but I believe that apart from the cameras there are several devices with the Snapdragon 845 and similarities that could be working in place as an adaptation . Do you know if you would be able to run the Nokia 8 Lineage on the Nokia 9?

I've got the latest version of Lineage OS on my One+ 6 McClaren Edition but can't get any push notifications on my Wyze app, nor can I log into my Subaru app. I'm open to suggestions and thanks.

I followed the official instructions on installing LineageOS on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (SM-P610, gta4xlwifi). Yet I cannot flash LineageOS recovery.

After flashing, a line of red text "Only official released binaries are allowed to be flashed (RECOVERY)" is shown. Meanwhile Heimdall will show that recovery upload was successful but it "failed to receive session end confirmation" when ending the session. When booting into recovery, it was always still Samsung recovery.

I have already unlocked my tablet's bootloader. The option "OEM unlock" was on and cannot be disabled.

The tablet is running the last official update of One UI 5.1.1 (P610XXS5FXE4)

I am on an Fair phone 4 with LinageOS21 +Root acsess using Magisk, but no Google apps. Is there anyway to pass SafetyNet/Get Google apps to work (mainly Google play and Google play Services, as then i could get SafetyNet to pass)?

I just want to build a working kernel so i can add ksu and other ksu stuff to it, but i just get errors all the time and its very hard to know what tools are actually needed to build for my device rn. I saw a mod talk about how youre not supposed to build a "standalone kernel", but why would i need to build an entire rom to just add some kernel stuff?

So I am on step 5 of 8 to install lineage OS on a pro1x and when I download dtbo file and then opening it keeps saying file the disc image file is corrupted? What am I doing wrong here?

Does anyone face any issue with the touch screen when playing games. The touch screen especially the bottom left corner part where the direction is usually set. Its fine most of the time but its annoying especially while playing moba games. Also, ingame keyboard is very hard to type. Is ir because of the ROM or its just my phone hardware side of things

I'm trying to port my device. I extracted the kernel. The kernel version is at 4.x, is that a problem? Do I need to get it's config and compile for 6.x versions? What is the next step in porting LineageOS to my device?

I'm unable to add an esim in my 3a. According to the wiki:

While it is somewhat standardized, most devices have no open-source implementation of an enrollment application available. This means that maintainers are forced to utilize prebuilt applications from vendors/carriers, and the one for this device is incompatible with modern versions of Android. This might or might not affect you, depending on your usecase.

Does that mean that it would work if I were to downgrade to LineageOS 19? Since that's based on the last official android version for the 3a.

Hello everyone, finally i install on my nvidia shield lineage os 21 tab version , everything works fine except sometimes i have two errors the first is i have a notification Serial Console is enabled, reduced performance, check bootloader and the second : System UI isn't responding

but they will report various errors when compiling the lineage21 kernel, but I think There is no problem with lineage's source code.

Do i have to get back to OOS 12 to have lineage or can i go from PE+ directly to lineage without getting back to the stock OS

I just upgraded my OnePlus 9 to LieageOS 21. In my excitement I forgot to backup my Google messages data 1st. I've tried restoring an old phone to get them, but it didn't seen to sync with any recent texts. I also nstalled MicroG and the messges app from Aurora Store and Messages just crashes in my OnePlus. Are there any other options to try or just a lesson learned the hard way?

Hello, everything was moving good until I got to installing dtbo.img and when doing that my computer says didnt mount?? Here is my Command promt saying didnt work

Hello. I have an old Samsung tablet running Lineage is 17.1. I've been using it for some quite a while but lately it saying Connected to wifi but no internet. But if I got to YouTube it works as usual but all the other things are not connecting to the internet as it saying.

I've done network reset, forget the network and reconnect, reboot, connecting to another networks (sometimes rebooting the device do the trick but only for few minutes)

Note: I am using OpenWrt WiFi access point (All the other devices on the network works perfectly fine)

Lineage OS quick setting tiles are 2x2 and take up a lot of space, while the Samsung flavor of Android I'm used to were smaller icons and fit a lot in without scrolling.

Are there any customization options to get the typical android look? I have root.

I am not a tech savvy and I don't know much about how hard or easy to implement things. But how possible to make adreno tools drivers run natively on the rom so all apps can use it It's so stupid how some powerful chips just stuck at old version no matter what Android version we use. +Some modern emulators proved it's effective.
