I’m fairly new to Lethbridge and am wondering if they do fireworks for new years? They did them back home.
I have a family member who will be going into high school in a few years. What's the difference between the schools?
I am arriving earlier than planned to Lethbridge. Are there any good clubs to go to for New years?
Is pulse nightclub good/busy ?
Apparently 3 cops, tow truck and an ambulance… seems like a story there
Hello Lethbians, I was wondering if there are any indoor ice skating spots in the city? please recommend any good ones. Thanks
I just want to give people more reasons to avoid the place I call hell. This may be a long read I just need to rant this off my chest. I’ve already been trying to go through the labour board but the owner has the right loop holes to get away with everything. As a (former) employee of dump LA I want to just go over the discriminatory, lack of empathy and accountability that the owner (specifically the female) has.
First thing first is who charges 3.25 for a water and doesn’t even have a water fountain. This is a trampoline park and kids are constantly using up energy and NEED water then which the parents come up and buy multiple bottles which end up costing over 15 dollars (the same price to jump for 1 hour). The water fountain was taken out during Covid and never put back for god knows what reason. Second off safety is not her priority, there has been multiple accidents that I have been witness too and we have had to bring the ambulance to our building. The owner skills on handling injuries is disgusting. By dismissing or even BLAMING the customer for an injuring. I’ll just share one accident that stuck with me. A child with special needs who is non verbal broke his leg at our park before the parents could finish checking them in. Long story short the kid couldn’t wait to get inside, ran in because our gate didn’t latch from the previous customer, ran over our trampolines and fell breaking his leg in half, yes fully in half poor kid is in a full leg cast. After this, the owner would NOT let the parent in to go grab his kids instead made the customer pay before going in then subsequently leaving right after (they didn’t even jump) and you guessed it. No refunds. All she did was “apologize” and wish a speedy recovery.
I am a huge supporter and advocate for people and their needs. This place has absolutely no compassion, by denying paying customers to go up on the trampoline deck simply because they are in a wheelchair is disgusting and an impact on their rights. She has no care about health concerns and limitations. She just cares about the money. (I say this because I watched her first hand tell someone in a wheelchair that they can’t watch their kid up on deck unless they got out of the wheelchair…. Yeah).
When present the owners breath down the staffs neck and when NOT present at the building the staff are being watched on the cameras and are ridiculed for the smallest error or rule broken we have no break room so we are forced to eat (if you don’t have a car) in the party rooms in front of all of the patrons who comment on the staff “not working” even though they are on break. She also hires secrete shoppers on a weekly basis to “ensure” the staff are doing their jobs, but will she actually correct and talk to the staff? No she gossips about staff to other staff members instead. The employers have terrible time management and often give the weeks schedule the night before or even the day off and often texts many employees during the middle of the night to let them know of a shift they are working the next day if they weren’t scheduled. She does not care about her student employees and scheduled me for shifts during my class time (to which I reminded her of my class schedule I sent her weeks in advanced).
Please be fair and considerate to the employees of jump la, we hate the owner just as much as most of the customers that come in, we have to put up with the shitty end of the stick because the owner doesn’t care about the reviews she gets and doesn’t change anything. She puts her employees through unsafe conditions, the work conditions are terrible no private places for the staff we aren’t even allowed to order in food all because 1 staff member ordered a pizza from a restaurant that wasn’t dominos (we contract with them but regardless we aren’t allowed to order in food) So if you didn’t pack a lunch better stay hungry and if you don’t have a care be prepared to just sit there for your 30 minute break. Oh and if you did pack a lunch you can’t eat it in front of anyone, if you do your picture might be taken by a secret shopper and sent to the owner :) as someone who doesn’t like photos I seem to be a photographers favourite
Please avoid this place and if you can’t cause your kids have fun please be kind to the staff we take so much outlash and we understand why, we know the parents don’t like to pay 40+ for just 2 kids to jump (for an hour…) but we cannot do anything, we try our best to slyly waive certain prices and fees, we know its ridiculously over priced we just simply can’t do anything (again the boss watches us on cameras) and a lot of the staffs mental health has taken a toll, no one enjoys working there its miserable the only positive is the great sense of friendship and empathy the staff has for one another.
If you personally have had issues with jump LA specifically leaning towards the unethical or seemingly questionable business behaviour PLEASE PLEASE report it, most of the staff are young adults and don’t know our rights or who to go too, we want to bring in inspectors to investigate her business but we can only do so much I would love to see the trampoline park under management that cares about the customer and not the money…
I’m coming to Lethbridge early spring for my son’s 18th birthday with a couple of his buddies. I’m looking for a decent hotel that’s close to fun nightlife that won’t break the bank.
Both are still saying opening in December, but haven't seen anything posted by either in weeks. Anybody know when one or both may open ??
Does anyone know any information about that poor 13 year old boy ??
Went to Luigi's south for a late lunch yesterday. We don't go often (1-2x per year) but we've always had good food in the past. My wife and FIL both had seafood lasagne (which they always order), MIL had a sirloin oscar and I had a pizza. My wife said she didn't come across a single piece of seafood in her lasagne, just sauce and noodles. My pizza was "OK" but a noticeable lack of cheese. My mother in law had a 12oz sirloin oscar but was nowhere near 12oz and had the smallest drizzle of sauce and crab, BUT the steak was cooked as she asked and decent quality, just small and a lack of the oscar component. On the plus side, the servers (both table and hostess) were excellent and super friendly. Anyone else notice a distinct change in food quality and portions over the past year?
Does anyone here know of any rooms or jam spaces that I could rent? I’m currently using my basement as a practice room, but as our equipment grows, the room gets more and more cramped. Let me know if any of you know a place that’s okay with loud noises (metal and jazz music) that’s also super cheap to rent.
Today is a good day for me to as on my way back to Coalhurst via Westside Dr when I saw a Bald Eagle flying low by the Trailer Park, it’s of my own opinion that seeing Bald Eagles in the area are a rare site to see. They are a majestic sight to see.
Your opinion of Mojo's food, service and environment..
Can anyone recommend a good car wash with self serve bays? I've been using one of the "gas kings" self wash bays, but the water pressure is awful in 2/4 of the bays.
Free vacuums is a plus!
Thanks for looking 👋
Things I am looking at are simple stuff like food from restaurants to estate sale purchases/ FB marketplace purchases. Just pick up the stuff and get paid in Lethbridge upon delivery.
Any students who commute regularly and want to earn some cash with interest in trying this, please DM me.
Hi! I have an older home that is in great need of replacing indoor doors (and maybe two closet doors). I would need supply and install. Anyone know of reputable business(es) that do this? I also need them to be able to travel outside of Lethbridge (about 40 minutes out). Thanks a bunch!
My grandparents live in Lethbridge while I am in the US, 8 hours away. I try to go visit them a couple times a year. I called her on Christmas and as we were talking she mentioned going to the food pantry a couple days prior to that because their funds are really low right now and they just don’t have much money for food. My grandma has terminal cancer (she’s still doing good right now though) and my step grandpa has dementia that’s gotten pretty bad over the last couple of years. I’m in a good spot and I want to help them. Do you guys have meals on wheels or anything like that? I found one singular place that does it, but I was looking for other recommendations that I could look into. I also want to be able to pay for it in the US so it’s just taken care of every month if I can. Also, do you guys have Walmart plus (or something similar) like we do? I was thinking of getting a visa gift card or something similar and loading money onto it every month so she could have groceries delivered (if that’s an option) as well. Please help me out with advice and recommendations, thank you! ❤️
What are the best places in town to go for used Switch games? The boy got one and wants to look around now.
Hi everyone! Can anyone make suggestions for what areas in Lethbridge are suitable for a single woman? Looking for an apartment, ideally one bedroom/studio. And what would be a reasonable rent?
I’m currently living in Edmonton and plans to move to Lethbridge as a Nursing Assistant/Aide. Can anyone share any differences between the two cities both positive and negative in all aspects of life (rent, traffic, lifestyle, crime, friendliness etc). Thanks folks!
Before this post turns dirty….
I am looking for a hand massage therapist. I get very sore hands after work and would like to get my hands massaged weekly. Any suggestions?

I'm an 18 year old male looking for a part time job, I have experience working on construction sites, certified to work on heights, I have my security license and drivers license and I have factory experience. Hey Lethbridge!
I am looking for some feedback on an idea I've been tossing around lately. I'd like to start selling exotic snacks & drinks such as imported candy, drinks and other goods that aren't typically sold in "regular" stores. Think chocolate bars from the UK, or limited edition energy drinks from overseas, even trending products like those ramen brands that are popular on tiktok, etc.
Living in other cities, I've seen great success with these types of business ventures, but I believe location plays a big part in their success.
My question for the Lethbians (<-- that word makes me laugh every time I type it) is if there were a couple of key spots to have a location in the city, where would they be? I'm thinking places like park place mall, or near the university. Having not lived here for long, I can't really come up with any other hotspots. Also not looking for a storefront downtown for obvious, break and enter reasons.
If anyone has any suggestions or feedback, I'd be eternally grateful!!
Thanks for looking 👋
