How much can you wiggle the ISO dial on your M10/M11 in the "locked" position? Mine rotates a tiny bit into one direction, and almost not at all into the other direction. I am trying to determine if this is normal behaviour

I have been wandering around the city for a few days with my silver M10 camera. I have been taking a lot of photos of people and places and all the reactions I’ve got has been the same: how old is that camera? Do you take pictures with a film camera? Why do you use that old camera instead of a new one?

That confirm what I thought: nowadays, nobody* knows Leica cameras. Nobody is interested in those cameras and the attraction I got is more for the aesthetics than for the quality or luxury of the brand.

It’s like with good Japanese jeans or quality clothes, those who know, know. The rest just see a normal jeans and watch.

What is the reaction you’ve got taking pictures with a Leica?

*by “nobody” I mean the general mass, the “normal” people out there (you know what I mean ☺️)

Can anyone suggest a solution… has anyone had success with mending the spool or a replacement, Leica or with a metal Minolta which I’ve read a bit about. It is an heirloom camera… and it has my heart in it

As the title suggests, I am looking for recommendations for a 28 or 35mm M mount lens. I picked up an M8 not too long ago and I’ve been shooting it with a 50mm, and while I really love the quality, the crop factor with that focal length makes it a little more telephoto than I’d like. I would prefer to keep things under US$1,500, but I am flexible if a small bump would be worth it. Thank you!

Leica Q or Leica Q2? And why

I’m already using an M7 (JP), but today I found an M7 with a 288 serial number and full box items from a local community. Now, this is my endgame set.

Who has both the Q3 28 and the 43? Curious which one you like best that you have both. I have the 28 but tempted for the 43.

after using a 35mm voigtlander 35mm f1.4, i finally picked up a brand new leica elmarit 28mm f2.8!

it was either this or a summicron 28mm. i figured i don't need the extra stop and also i could use the difference for more film and travel 😅 still getting used to the 28mm framelines 😅

Hey has anyone else had this issue? Was wondering if it’ll affect the lens quality and whether it’s something that can be fixed? Any advice would be appreciated!

Anyone know how to share a link to a LFI Gallery?

Hi all, curious if anyone else has had this issue w Looks on their Q3 28. I'm running latest firmware and iOS app. I took a video of what I'm seeing, but the general issue is it doesn't seem like the Looks are properly loading. For example, in the video you'll see when I select Eternal is shows black and white on the LCD live view.

KEH has had the camera I’m looking for listed several times in the past month, but I’ve missed out on it because I’m nervous to buy from them. I’m a little old fashioned and don’t like making big purchases without talking to someone / seeing the product in person.

Have folks in this sub had good or bad experiences buying from KEH? Would you recommend them as a seller despite it being an online-only experience (if you don’t live near the Atlanta location)?
