Legends was seven seasons of mostly campy goofy fun but there were def moments that hit 100 percent seriously and were genuinely moving.
Spoilers ahead
Some moments that get me:
in Crisis when the end of everything is coming on New Krypton and Lois and company just before sending baby Jonathan offworld in the pod, Lois says ‘we’ll always be with you’ (I blame Land Before Time for making this phrase get to me)
after Oliver’s death, Sara looking at the tree in the park and talking about how Oliver was the last tie to her old life
Damien Darhk developing actual love for Nora and letting her go
Mick feeling like the optional one that no one really wants, everyone expects the worst of, and only keep him around because he came in a set with the brilliant one they actually wanted (Len)
None of my friends like it and I’m wondering if I’m missing any hidden mass communities (aside from twitter, not dealing with that mess again).
Did you ever notice that even after the mission is over, Zari is still wearing the burger joint outfit to turn John on?
Yup. I worked at a DQ for years. I was with a girl who looked like Zari who dressed like that for work.
IT NEVER LEAVES YOU!! A girl can get all the fancy outfits in the world ,but, if you truly love the girl, the fast food employee outfit will always turn you on.
Oh, and beyond that, just God bless anyone who works in fast food. It's a tough gig.
I just need some new Flash content.
Nate never wanted to be Captain Heywood. He COULD have been. He just didn't want that.
In the end of the season 1, he sacrificed himself to literally save everything which is HEROIC. But I just realised he could have just used cold gun to freeze the button pushed. Or use something to push it and freeze that together so even time masters came after the legends left it will still blow up right? It’s in the past but just curious if this works as a plan. (Sorry for the grammar I’m not fluent in English)
I'm back with another of my favorite LOT fanfic recs, annnnnnnnnnnd it's another CaptainCanary fic. Whoopsie
Synopsis: Tired of synthesized food and sugarless crap, the team decide they're long overdue for a grocery run. Obligatory shenanigans ensue, as they always do when you put this eclectic crew of people together and ask them to be normal for just 5 minutes
In the Return of the Mack episode, Rip takes something out of his pocket and Zari says, "What's that!?"
He answers her without looking at her. (He's mostly talking to everyone in the room.)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is the closest a Zari and Rip have come to interacting on screen.
Based on the LOT characters, who most likely to:
I was doing a rewatch of s1 Lot and couldn’t help but notice Damien Darhk in the second episode at the nuclear bomb auction with Vandal Savage. Why was he there? Just curious!
Currently at Season 4, and I love the show like I love all the Arrowverse but I do cringe at some stuff even if they do make it silly on purpose. So I'm just tryna know if there'll be any more serious story arcs or even full seasons where the characters and the show take themselves a bit more seriously without a joke every few minutes. Season 1 (maybe S2 too, can't remember) was great at that.
One of Zari Tarazi's best lines.
There is like a million times I wish I would said that.
im rewatching all the arrowverse rn.
i have to say i love vandal savage as a character, and the actor who portrays him does brilliantly.
in my opinion vandal is incredibly inconsistantly written tho, and he should either be a massive threat or a no biggy, but not flickering between the two.
for example, i recently rewatched smallville (superman origins basically), and in it he deals with curtis knox aka vandal savage, vandal is merely in the show for an episode, with the goal of using super powered individuals to make his true love immortal, but he is stopped in a fight vs superman and taken to be imprisoned on mars. that was it,
in legends he is a big threat, which is fine, obviously immortality is a brilliant antithesis of time travel and makes for a very interesting comparison between vandal and the legends,
unforgunatly, because time travel is unquestionably stronger in this matchup, the writers constatly add rules that favour vandal, such as the “time wants to happen”, and “cant mess with events your already involved in”, which i can understand, but at the same time they constantly mess with vandal’s power too.
i mean in terms of fighting he should be like ra’s al ghul on steroids, he has litterally had 4000 years of training, and its not like he hasnt known the fight for his life was always gona come down to an ancient egyption weapon fight, ontop of that we see him with powers and then not using them.
for me the entire point of the crossover backdoor pilot was to show how insane vandal was in combat, excluding the fact that he is also a threat to the world, he went up against oliver and won, and yet kendra (who loses to sara (who loses to oliver)) somehow beats him, on her own, despite losing with carter many times,
my realy biggest annoyance is that, for a time master, rip is not even close to a master of time, like as a no brainer since i just said it, why not imprison vandal somewhere, sure you cant kill him, but put him in a massive pit or another planet or whatever and come back when your ready to kill him or whatever.
they keep using the excuses of not knowing where he is and not being able to interact with events they already took part in (even though they do it alot as the show goes on), but that wouldnt limit them going right back after they left, or weeks after.
and there is no way they cant find him in the digital age, he should be trackable anywhete on earth, especially with the tech rip has access too,
not to mention the really obviously points of before and after his death, by this i mean, befote rip couldnt kill him and was named gareeb, and after he was killed in the backdoor pilot and saved by merlin.
