Generation Z is known for being more left-leaning on pretty much every political issue than older generations are. What's your take on Zoomers? Do you think they're really that left-wing?
What do you guys think? Should Daniel Penny be charged with the charges that are being pressed on him? If not what if any charges should he be charged with? Was it justified? Is it the polices fault for supposedly refusing to give him mouth to mouth after they felt a pulse?

Have someone asking about the border, and I personally think the idea of borders and separation based on race is wrong, not to mention how the US is the reason many people don’t have citizenships or visas renewed.
I want a video or documentary that covers the border, the reason why people come to the US, what the US has done to migrants, and the propaganda from both parties that are xenophobic.
Don’t know if I encapsulated that well but I want something comprehensive that covers everything as much as possible on the topic to give a moderate the proper information.
let's have a Peaceful Revolution
hey all still working on my brand of leftism where we Heal the World with love and not violence
flower-leftism is a mix between old school leftist thinking and aggressive ideas and counterculture
we don't hate anyone when it comes to politics even with people we disagree with even though we disagree with most conservative point of views we still love and care for them cuz like anyone else there just human
a flower leftist believe in legalizing psychedelics
Pro people power to the people does it matter if you're white black or blue all it matters is your character
what makes this leftist different and most is though we understand the collective we also understand the individual we hold both the corrective and the individual in fact you can almost call it individual Collective where we take care of each other and our needs but we we also understand independent thinking and individual love
this type of leftism even believes in mixing technology with nature and a healthy way by teaming up with Scientists to create a more healthier and better future for us and all that lives in it
we also believe in overturning big Pharma that's why our food and medicine can be healthy and we as a people can take charge of our own healthiness
we also believe in overturning the CIA dont let the man control us
and that is all for now stay groovy ☮️
The Ukraine-Russia conflict has long been a hot topic, especially after Russia's invasion. Among left-wingers, I've seen a lot of support for Ukraine, but I've also seen some pro-Russia support. What are your thoughts on the conflict and both countries?
Leftists seem pretty split on this major issue. Both sides seem to raise important points but neither seems to have a solution that addresses the other side's concerns, which is why I feel pretty split on this issue. In the future, I would like to own a firearm as I am confident in my responsibility and safety, but I completely understand the concerns when it comes to allowing any person to purchase a firearm, especially with the rising rates of mass shootings in the United States.
I generally consider myself to be left leaning on most issues, I seem to be at odds with literally every other leftist when it comes to the Israeli-Palestian conflict. Why is Israel so hated compared to Palestine, despite arguably having claims tracing further back? I promise I'm not looking to start arguments, I just want to see why my view on the conflict is so different to almost everyone else here (you may be hearing that sentence a bit more from me in the future)
last night one of our freinds said that they dont donate to palestinians because of severe moral ocd, and while i was rotating that in my head trying to figure out if it was a good enough excuse, i realized that im not really one to talk. i bankrupt myself donating to palestinians every month and the only reason im not dead in a ditch somewhere is because i live with my parents
for some godforsaken reason i decided to say this realization in the discord were in with our freinds, and they both affirmed the realization that, should the amount of worry i have about this be something wrong with me, its bad and pointed out two things: that one of our alters does nothing anymore but interrogate our freinds about what theyre doing for palestine, and that half the time they see me im having a moral dilemma.
a direct quote is: "your protector is being actively persecutive to people in your life about it and several other world issues (like projecting your morality complex onto others by implying that we also have an obligation to bankrupt ourselves for people in need and cant spend any money on nice things like commissions) and you're already tearing yourself apart over it by inflicting what she does onto yourself. yeah it's bad scout"
so am i being insane and unreasonable, or do our freinds just not understand?

There's this socialist website simply called the World Socialist Web Site that isn't floated around much, but seems to involve many leftist topics like socialism, marxism, unions, class struggle, inequality, etc. It also covers foreign events like the Russia-Ukraine war and the Israel-Gaza war. What are your thoughts on this website?
Why aren’t we given the option to choose where our tax money goes? What makes the politicians so qualified to choose what to do with OUR money. I understand taxes are necessary but it should be more like donating to the charities you like rather than being robbed and what was taken then being used to kill and destroy lives.
There's been a recent slew by Republicans to demonize the FBI and to defund the DOJ and various other government departments. I plan on making a career in the FBI, and I'll be honest I'm a little bit scared for what the future might bring
Crucial for later understanding ideologies those grappling with political science should understand the basics of power; and how their view of power affects how they structure their world. That starts with ontology and epistemology. So what’s your ontology?
After spending the last 12 months seeing footage of children blown up, with bloody and missing limbs on social media, all the gory Halloween decorations are really hitting me differently this year. I've noticed in the past few years, gory decorations have become more common, and I feel like I was so privileged before to see them and just think of them as a fun , dark humor decoration. Now it feels very weird and wrong to see houses decorated this way. Anyone else feeling this at all?
