At around the 12 minute mark, when they’re travelling through New York you can hear guitar finger picking from Jimmy Page.
Which song is it from??? (I tried to use Shazam; didn’t work)
Any help is appreciated
Edit: It was Bron-Ya-Aur, thanks for all your help. You guys are awesome!!
Interested to hear some tracks where any of you guys have noticed some Zep influences in other genres.
A great one for me is ‘Love Spreads’ by Stone Roses, indie band from Manchester (who were great btw!). The song definitely takes elements from Led Zeppelin II, in particular the riff from ‘Moby Dick’.
Give them a listen!
I prefer the version from the original TSRTS without that obvious edit around the 1:30 mark. I can find the remastered 2007 version all over the web but not the original version with a running time of 14:25. Does anyone know where I can download/buy it online?
I felt like saying that I like the Immigrant Song a lot but it's immense popularity shows how underrated (nearly) every other LZ song is.
I've always wondered if the members of the band would sit around and compose parts they played or if it was mostly from memory.
I just found out last night that he will be headlining a festival in my city in September, and I’m wondering if it’d be worth going? Led Zeppelin has been my favorite band ever since I got into them, so I’m really wanting to know.
Does anyone know the time signature for The Ocean for drumming? I’ve heard people say it’s 15/8, 7/8, or even 4/4 and every other measure is 7/8. Just curious.
