Im still befuddled by the level of ignorance, lack of courage or sense of patriotism that run through some Lebanese. It got to a point where they'd agree on total occupation rather fight for a better outcome. Only one word. Cowards.

Let’s say the Lebanese government accepted the proposed ceasefire and implemented the it spreading the Lebanese army in the south and confiscating the resistance’s arms and infrastructure (technically impossible) how is this going to happen if it’s going to happen and if it didn’t are we heading towards a civil war?

Lebanese from Bint Jbeil. Father 100% Lebanese, Mother is 25% Indian - hence the 12.7% South Asian. We could not find an explanation for the 20.1% Italian. My mom says someone from my dads family "mkhabbis". I've seen other Lebanese with a high % of Italian DNA, anyone else?

Discrepancies in reporting casualties and the zionist entity is paying the families of killed zionist soldiers "hush money" so they don't publicly hold a funeral or announce that their family members were killed

Summary for those who prefer to read:
1- The zionist entity is exerting great effort to hide their casualties. Three examples show the large discrepancies between reporting:
*The zionist health ministry reports that since Oct. 7th: 21,227 (all population) injured
*The zionist ministry of defense: ~12,000 (military only) injured
*The zionist military: 5,196 injured
It's worth nothing that the gap between health and defense ministry numbers aren't realistic since most of the casualties are military. So why is the gap so high? This is besides the discrepancy with the military number.
2- The zionist government gives monthly payments to the families of injured and killed soldiers. But because of the huge increase in military casualties, they're discussing a law that would decrease the amount of payments that they would get monthly.
3- There are zionist organizations that introduce themselves as NGOs that have been visiting the families of dead soldiers. They have been offering the families varying amounts of money to them about $67k, $59k...highest offered was $73k. They offer to pay the families half the amount immediately. Then they'd pass the second half over 6-12 months. This is in addition to the money that they get from the government mentioned in point 2. In exchange, the families would sign a contract that forbids them from speaking about their dead family members publicly and also not holding any funeral publicly for 5 years. As if they didn't have any family members who got killed in other words. If they break the contract, they would have to pay the money back in full. The organizations explain to the family that this is for the good of Israel to keep the entity's morale high.

Don’t fall into the ceasefire trap again
It’s been over a year of discussions like this every time. Rumours, meetings, opinions, etc.
These serve no one but the zionists who are perfectly content to continue the war and cause as much destruction, physically and mentally, as possible. Why? Because mention of a brutal war stopping goes straight to the heart for many experiencing and watching the brutality. It appeals to your optimist, your hope. But in reality, it’s a trick to gradually demoralize and destroy you.
The other huge aspect with this current round of ceasefire circus is that they may be trying to further divide Lebanon via the US zionist embassy and their idf footrunner. They blast the news with this latest ceasefire de-linking the fronts, the Lebanese govt gets forced to agree, but HA does not as has been their stance. What next? People in Lebanon who are suffering and witnessing destruction start turning on HA for not agreeing what in fact is a dead on arrival, terrible ceasefire proposal. The internal division tears us apart and creates internal hostility, Israel continues its war and destruction and it further creates hostility between those who wanted what was a Trojan horse of a ceasefire proposal. My thoughts anyway.
I believe the only time to actually buy into ceasefire discussions is when the US pivots on Gaza, humanitarian aid, and its words become actual ultimatums connected to ongoing military aid. Until then, it’s all mind games.

A video surfaced of an Israeli soldier (he can be seen towards the very end of the video) being happy in one of the videos in south Lebanon, celebrating their victory. A couple of days later, the IDF announced that he fell in combat during battles in southern Lebanon.
