Thalia Hadmen, the Na'vi don't have th in their vocabulary right now would her name look in Na'vi since Jake is Tsyeyk Suli.
I'm creating a Na'vi OC and I'd like their name to mean something similar to the phrase "Silver Lining" or more specifically, an unfortunate situation that either became beneficial or has positive aspects to it. Is anyone aware of any Na'vi words or names whose meanings might fit this definition?
I realize that there is no word currently for trader, but there has to be in the future with the Windtraders making their first debut in AVTR 3. Have any of you come up with a suitable solution or possible substitute for “trader”?
I’m trying to combine Oare (Moon?) and Txon’ong (Nightfall but can mean dusk?) to name my ikran. I’m not sure how to go about combining words so I was hoping someone could help me? I would be very grateful!
I have been an Avatar fan since a child like a toddler (concerning what my parent would let me watch ik) and I began to speak some na’vi very early on. However I have lost most of it since only remembering very few words, now I’m older I’m wanting to get back into it as languages has kinda become my thing now. I was wondering if any of you had any recommendations and I mean ANY.
From where to start, good resources, things you with you knew sooner, books/workbooks, classes, ect. Please share you wisdom and I’m sure I’ll benefit from anything, maybe someone else will too (let’s hope 🤞)
Hi everyone! I'm Anna and I'm writing my dissertation for my MA in Translation. My dissertation will be about Artificial Languages.
As you're Na'vi learners, your opinion would be crucial for this survey about learning and knowing artificial languages. Could you answer it? It won't take much time and it's anonymous.

Hi, could somebody explains the -lie suffix for numbers? The only thing I have is " The word ’awlie refers to a single event in the past. " and it doesn't help me. Thank you!
How would the People’s Cry title from Frontiers of Pandora be translated into Na’vi?
I’m a complete beginner. What’s the best way to learn Navi grammar?
What would be the appropriate way to address an “uncle/aunt” in Na’vi? I realize there is no such words in the dictionary, so what would be the best approach?
Thanks much!
I have an OC who cooks for her family, in the story she describes the ingredients she uses, but she also gives the food a name:
“Kalin yerik tsngan yapay”… supposed to mean steamed sweet yerik meat or something akin to that…
If you couldn’t already tell I’m very new to this, help???! What would be the beat way to approach naming this??!
Thank you much!
I realize that there is a word for animal fat in Na’vi (syewe) but what would be the best way to say plant oil? Im very new to Na’vi, noob here.
Kxì ma frapo, I have a question on if I have put this together correctly. I'm trying to put the phrase "Thank you, my great father" into Na'vi, but am wondering if I have the verbs and adjectives and stuff in the correct order. I want it to be reverent, like you would say to God, or a holy person.
"Oe irayo si ngaru, ma fkew sempul," is this correct, or do I have it completely wrong. Thanks in advance, I appreciate it.

Hello everyone, I'm trying to translate a phrase, but I have no idea how na'vi language works, and they don't have words for certain objects.
The prase I'm trying to translate is: "Draw me not without reason; sheath me not without honor"
What do you think? Could you help me?
I used a bunch of different resources and I'm gonna be posting my language learn journey and notes on both Reddit and Instagram. This is to help me keep track of my learning and share my notes. Feel free to correct my mistakes, it would be extremely helpful. Thank you in advance.
