Learn Konkani With Us!
This is a subreddit for anyone interested in learning Konkani, especially for English speakers of the Konkan Diaspora. While we often focus on Goan (Antruz) or Mangalorean Konkani in the Nagari (Devanagari) or Romi (Latin) scripts, all dialects and scripts are allowed!
Please add English translations whenever possible to Konkani posts and comments, or write "Translation Needed" so someone can help translate!

Does anybody know what happened to the Romi Konkani paper Vauraddeancho Ixtt? I can't find any recent papers online. Their website v-ixtt.com returns 404.
Hello,
I am preparing a thesis on the names of the fingers in the different Indo-European languages. I am looking for the translation of the following words:
Finger, thumb, index finger, middle finger, ring finger, little finger, toe
I have already found the following translations:
बोट
आंगठो, तर्जनी, मदलें बोट, रिंग बोट, ल्हान बोट
पांयाची बोट
May I ask you to verify whether they are correct or not?
May you also suggest to me the etymology or some reliable resource where I could find the etymology of those words?
Thanks for the attention
I see that Konkani is available on Memrise. Have any of you used this course and if so, did you find it useful? Apparently it is ‘resourced’ from ‘Spoken Konkani’ by Edward De Lima.
