I didn’t know latexcatfish was rebranding/closing and was due to buy a couple of the above catsuits for women.
Does anyone know if they will be adding their back catalogue or anywhere else that does them?
Please forgive me this way to long
At the start of my journey with latex, I always assumed that chlorinated rubber had a shiny, smooth feel—almost thick but not spongy, if that makes sense. I’ll admit that I lost my first rubber shirt from a company called Rubber Dog (if I recall correctly), and I absolutely loved it. However, it definitely wasn’t chlorinated, as I’m not the smoothest man when it comes to body hair.
This brings me to my first question, and I hope you won’t judge me for asking: Are dressing aids like silicone lube and polishing sprays conceptually similar? In other words, does applying a dressing aid effectively polish the latex to some degree, or are the two processes entirely different? For instance, is polishing more vigorous and reliant on specific sprays designed for durability and shine, whereas dressing aids are more about ease of wear? I’d love to understand if the results overlap or if they’re entirely distinct.
On the other hand, chlorination feels like a completely different category—more akin to roasting a peanut. Both untreated and chlorinated latex can be smooth in their own ways, but chlorination seems to create a fundamental change in the material, almost like using chemical heat to alter its properties. Some people love the natural taste of raw peanuts (like untreated latex), while others prefer the roasted version (chlorinated latex). Both are enjoyable, but they cater to different preferences.
I’ve been prepping for the arrival of my rubber socks and considering chlorinating some of my other pieces. If my primary concerns are losing color and flexibility, it seems like chlorination could be a good solution. Should I consider chlorinating at least one pair of my shorts, a shirt, or even a jock?
Additionally, I have some well-made rubber pieces that are about 14 months old—they’re Swiss rubber, which I believe is of good quality. As long as I ensure they are fully cleaned beforehand, could I expect decent results from chlorinating them at this stage?
Lastly, I have a pair of black rubber chemical gloves—the kind made for chemical resistance—and they’re my absolute favorite feel of rubber. Is this material similar to chlorinated latex, or is it actually chlorinated? And, on a fun note, where would one even go to get a hazmat suit made out of this kind of material?
I’ll also mention that I do have some rubber pieces that I keep stored in a garment bag, away from sunlight, to protect them and maintain their quality. However, I have a soft spot for rubber that’s been worn enough to lose its shine over time. It’s kind of like ice cream—some people enjoy their rubber shiny and polished like a perfect scoop, while others appreciate the soft, worn-in feel like melting ice cream, showing that it’s been thoroughly enjoyed.
Thank you for taking the time to read through my thoughts and questions. I’m excited to hear your insights and advice!
Best regards, David Clare
I just got a silicone pup hood from FURRJOI and I wanted to wear it with my rubber collar and rubber suit. Would the rubber or hood get damaged from contact? Do I need to change how I shine my rubber to make it comparable with the hood? I currently use Vivishine and viviclean to clean and shine my collar and suit.
I also keep reading to use talcum powder or water based lube to put on a silicone hood. Which would be best?
THANKS!
I recently moved out of my family home into a house with roommates so I am hoping to get a Latex item, I got good advice earlier in the sub. However one big issue is I have roommates and the bathroom is shared. Is it possible to clean the latex with the likes of baby wipes or other similar products that would avoid me going to the bathroom to clean it.
Has anyone bought from here? They have good Black Friday deal for catsuit ($128 shipped) and was wondering if it was good quality at all
Does anyone know what color latex this is? It doesn't seem to ne any color that's on Rubber55 (the company that this lovely model represents) and I don't think it's on Radical Rubber's website either (i reallg don't think it's Royal Blue). I could be mistaken but I genuinely don't see it anywhere.
Anyone have any good recommendations on products for latex dressing? I hate the feel of vividress and pjur as I always have to put lots and lots on which blocks all my pores and it makes me very cold. And I’m worried about asbestos in talcs and being unsafe in that way. Any safe powders//other products anyone can recommend? Thanks guys
I have a cooling gel pillow and was wondering if I get a latex pillow case would that help or add to any cooling I can get from my pillow. I’m a hot sleeper which is why I’m asking. I have e a satin pillow case on it right now and it does all right but was wondering if there is anything better.
Hello I am hoping to get into a small amount of Latex with my partner and was planning on buying some stockings on libidex for about 68 pounds. Just wondering, I heard a dress aid makes it easier, is the dress aid itself slimey or is it not noticeable once it's sprayed on. Also I saw a the thickness is 0.25mm with a 0.4mm option, my partner sometimes puts me in a head scissors so was wondering if that would tear the 0.25mm. Any advice is appreciated
I have a question, if I wear two 0.4mm latex catsuits, will it feel the same as one 0.8mm heavy rubber catsuit?
Hi everyone! Quick question regarding latex leggings. I have a pair from bright and shiny and they're fantastic! My only issue is when i crouch down and then stand back up i end up with a decent amount of the latex folded up behind my knees and after a while it gets rather uncomfortable. I'll adjust them and make it nice and smooth behind my legs again, but if i bend my knees too much it does the same thing again. Is there a good way to mitigate/prevent this? For reference i use lots of lube on both myself and the leggings.
Thanks!
Want to collect ideas in one place want to know who's going to have the best black Friday and cyber Monday sales.
My wife's stockings tore and we have a few other items on the wishlist so want to get the best deals possible.
Let hear what sales you have found or know about this coming holiday weekend!
Hello everyone! I received a defective garment from a company that I would like to fix (they have agreed to send me a new one). As you can see in the picture an area was marked where there was supposed to be a hole (Reddit won't let me attach a picture for some reason but I'd you think you may be able to help I can provide the pic in a DM). This hole leads to a seperate enclosed pouch with an inflatable Air bladder. As a result it's not possible to access the back of this piece of latex without dissassembling the garment completly.
My plan to fix it is as follows. I would carefully cut a very small hole using an exacto knife in the center of the marked area just big enough to get my finger in. Then I would use that to make sure the material of the internal air bladder was pushed away from the outer portion. Then I would cut along the + are marked on the garment about 80% of the way so that I could fit a small piece of cardboard underneath to provide support. Then using that carboard as support inwould use the exacto knife again to cut out the marked area.
I've never worked with any of these materials before and it's a bit of a tricky operation but I'm wondering if anyone has any tips? Maybe a different strategy or different tools that may be more effective in this case. I want to have the best chance possible of being able to use this garment. Thank you in advanced for any advice you can provide :3
Wanting to pull the trigger on a new catsuit and curious if libidex will be having black Friday/cyber monday sale or if I should just order it now and get it over with lol
I was going to get some latex pants from https://latexclothing.co.uk/ a few days ago but then today I checked reviews on the website and a lot of people said they never got the things they ordered (and some said it was a scam) I should have checked the website before buying.
I only spent around ~£40 so it's not much of a loss from me but damn 😭 is there any way to cancel the order since I don't think they reply to emails.
Also, can anyone refer to any reputable latex sites?
Edit: TL;dr Asking for help
I got a small tear in the back of my stocking, and then another in the back of my hood. What todo now?
Hi there! First time writing in this sub but I've been around reading for a while now :)
I've always had a thing for latex clothes and couple of years ago my partner agreed to give it a go. We started with a datex skater dress from Lovehoney. The experience was good overall but it was kinda difficult to put the dress on and off. The dress didn't have any zipper either.
Anyway, thought of going for some real latex outfit this time. The idea is to buy something smaller so it's easier to wear. I had thought of getting some chlorinated latex opera gloves cuz I heard this way is easier to put them on, a top and skirt (both with a zipper, but not being chlorinated). Would this be a good starting point for this material? Or do you think something different would work best? Perhaps some chlorinated leggings? No idea😅
Also, do you guys know a good website to get chlorinated latex? I only know Simon O for the gloves. I'm from EU, I'm a bit concerned about ordering something from the UK due to customs
Thank you so much in advance!
Hey peeps
I had a cheap pair of socks I got of Amazon rip (boo) and I’m looking to get a more solid pair, do you guys have any recommendations for a UK buyer (Just regular socks not toe socks)
Also need suggestions for gloves for larger hands/wrists as it’s hard to find a comfortable fitting pair :)
Hey everyone!
I saw a post about the latex catfish turnaround time and I thought I’d share my time for KinkProjects. I ordered on 8/30 and it arrived at my house today 11/25, shipping to the Western USA. So in total just less than 3 months.
M2M catsuit and everything! So far pleased with the communication about everything :)
Hey everyone, I’m looking to buy a high-quality latex catsuit from Amazon UK, with a budget of around £200. I’ve checked out a few options, but I’m not sure about the quality of some of the sellers. I’d really appreciate any recommendations from people who’ve bought latex catsuits before and can vouch for the quality. Comfort and durability are important to me, so any advice would be great. Thanks in advance!
Hello, I saw this silicone catsuit in a recent Celene Nox video. In the video it seemed nice, but I want to see if anyone has any experience with this product or Smitizen. It seems like a Chinese brand with warehouses in Europe… The suit is only one size but appears very strechy and the given measurements would fit me I think. Any thoughts or experiences?
Thanks!
Looking at getting a hood from Rubber55 and I noticed they had two blacks that were very similar looking at least in the example photos (Black and Pearlsheen Black). Does anyone know the difference or can explain/show pictures as to the differences between the two?
Hello all, long time lurker first time poster.
I just got a KinkProjects suit that was chlorinated, but it smelled kind of like a rubber balloon. Just to be safe I got any shipping or manufacturing "gunk" off I washed it in some dawn and water. Still smells like a balloon. No parts are sticking together as I would expect for chlorinated latex, so I'm pretty sure it's fully chlorinated.
Anyone experience this with KinkProjects suits? I got some gloves and socks from them chlorinated couple years ago and they did not have any particular smell after a quick soapy wash.
Should I give it another wash? Let it "de-gas" for a few days?
I'm mostly concerned on what substances could be on the suit that could be a potential irritant. Suit 100% came from China. IIRC there was some confusion between KinkProjects US and China and Idk how all that resolved, but this suit is 100% from China.
Is it safe to wear? Or should I just forget about it?
A bit overwhelmed with all the Products they sell. How are you supposed to use them? Acording to their Tutorial you wash your clothes bevore aplying anything. So are you supposed (if you use every product) to Wash - UV Protection/storage Spray - after storage bevor use Wash again - Dressing Aid inside - shine outside with shiner. Or wash - storage Spray - take out from storage and applying dressing aid right away - shine (do you even get it to shine when the UV Protection is still on (because they say that the UV Protection Spray isn't that shiny and more dull). And would you recommend normal silicon oil or a spray (or booth)? Until know i store and dress mostly with just Talc, but from what i read i have the feeling you should cover your Latex in Silicon from time to time to "moisture" and care for it? I plan to make the most out of Black Week Sale and buy everything i need
I was looking at purchasing a heavy latex straitjacket and wondered if anyone knew where to get one. I was looking at blackstore, com, but I've never used them and the English side of the site seems incomplete.
I was also looking at getting a catsuit made to measure (I'm tall and skinny). I live in North America, however I am open to ordering internationally if need be.
Any suggestions would be welcomed
Thank you
Has anyone ever tried using cheap spray silicone oil for shining? E.g. https://www.screwfix.com/p/flomasta-silicone-spray-200ml/
Is it the same ingredients as latex shiner?
I follow this creator and I really want to buy this short but I don’t know where. It is open in the middle
