I've been once before for a bachelor party and stayed at the Horseshoe when it was Bally's. I'm leaning towards staying at the Linq this time around, but I don't know how much I care about the room as I won't be there much. Location is a big factor, but I'd like to keep the hotel costs down a bit so I can set those extra funds aside for gambling, food, or entertainment.
Hey all!
I’m heading to Vegas for the 3rd time at the start of Dec - going for a work conference and will be staying in the Wynn Sunday-Friday.
Have been the last two years running, and trying to get tips for what I’m missing this year! What bars would you recommend? Anywhere that’s good and lively to hang out at midnight-3am on weeknights? Last few times we’ve found it much quieter in the evening then expected, and not really known the best bars to go, so often ended up in random lobby bars in Caesars palace. I feel I’ve missed a bunch of things!
So far my favourite places have been: The Double Down Saloon, The Chandelier bar in the Cosmo, Duelling Pianos in the Flamingo, and Bazaar Meat.
Least favourite: STK in the Cosmo ($200 steak that was pretty average)
Any tips? What have I missed out on that’s your must go to bar or restaurant? Also I’ll be heading via Planet 13, any places that are must have places to go when stoned?
Thanks all and looking forward to coming back to your lovely city!
Hi everyone, I'm coming to Vegas for an event happening in Henderson. I'll be staying at the Virgin hotel on Paradise. I'll only be there for two days and one night, Thursday and Friday. I was seeing about ubering or renting a car. Renting a car seems like the way to go especially with going to Henderson both days. I've never been to Vegas so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hi all,
As said in the title. We are staying at The Flamingo in late December. As I'm from Australia I wanted to contact them via email as I had a couple of questions for them before we arrive.
Their online form I filled out a couple of weeks ago and no response. Similarly when I contacted them through booking.com.
Hoping someone local might know!
Thanks in advance :)

Sad news, one less place to grab a proper drink downtown.
Bit of a dumb question: I'm having a girls trip (4 people) next weekend in Vegas, and we were able to book a dinner reservation for Saturday; we're interested in heading to the club afterwards for a bit. Would we need to purchase separate entry tickets?
Hey everyone,
So I just finished up a season working at Yellowstone, and am transferring to Death Valley on the 12th! Super excited to be in Vegas as of today, but I came into town on fumes and as of tonight I do not have enough money for a hostel or any kind of hotel until the 6th. I’ll be able to sleep at the airport for a few nights if I have to. Just wondering if anyone on here has a few bucks to spare (I only need like 20 more) or a couch to spare for a few nights, I get paid again on the 6th so I’ll be good after that. I’d be able to pay anyone back plentifully for any money or time given! Thank you in advance!!
My husband and I are coming from Sydney Australia to Vegas late May/early June 2025! We are celebrating his 30th. We are looking to stay at the Cosmopolitan but wondering if it’s worth spending that money? Will we even spend that much time in the room? Any other options in the area that are just as good? Also, any Vegas must knows?!
So excited.
Next year i’m going to Vegas for a concert but i’ll only be 19, are there even any hotels i can get there at that age?
Hello wonderful Vegas group! I will be heading to Vegas the week of Thanksgiving and was wondering if yall could help!
I am in search of my favorite game on the strip. Big Hot Flaming Pots. I am staying at Palazzo, but will be gambling all over.
Have you seen this game? Please comment where if you have! Thank you!!!
Who's going?
So I know Caesar and MGM offer free parking to veterans with their player card I was wondering if Golden Nugget does the same thing and if not what casinos on Fremont do that?
It has an interesting 70's/80's design. I'd love to know what used to be there, but most old photos exclude that area
I know… I know… This question is going to sound stupid and naïve and out of touch, but please bear with me and be nice and put my fears to rest.
My family is coming to visit Las Vegas over the winter, and I got tickets to see the Golden Knights play our local team. My kids want to pack and wear their jerseys of our team. Just wondering if we will get any hostility for walking around in them. It’s our first time in Las Vegas and we just don’t know what local crowds are like.
Zipcode: 89147. Got a Hyundai Palisade 2022 and shopping around for affordable insurance since last one year but nothing less than 250$/month.
Is this price common in Vegas these days?
Bodily Injury/ Property Damage Liability $100,000/$300,000/$100,000. Progressive told me my Zip code is the problem and more accidents reported here. Any cheap insurances suggestions?
Also, what are your recommendations for where to play below $200?
Arriving with expired credit card
Next week ill be arriving at paris vegas. If i remember correctly they dont charge your card on your check in date until you physically check in?
Im staying in comped rooms. The lady on the phone told me not to worry and to just give an new card at the desk upon arrival. I have been charged nothing so far. The card i used expired in september. I booked these back in may not realizing the expiration date.
Hey there
Does anyone know if any of the restaurants on the strip have baked Alaska on their dessert menu? I know Prime steakhouse at Bellagio had it a year ago but can't find confirmation if it's still on the menu.
Thank you!
Hello,
I have a friend getting married in Vegas and we were wondering if there is some service that would pick up the wedding party and take them to the las vegas sign with the photographer for photos, wait around and return them to the hotel. I know Uber is an option but they wouldn't wait around generally and with wedding dresses and suits it's a lot to ask.
Thanks
I’m debating on whether to stay at the Sahara or Paris Las Vegas? Any suggestions or comments are appreciated!
EDIT: thank you ASAP_i for reminding me to add this: I am debating between the two hotels and need to know which hotel is more centrally located on the strip without having to take the monorail as much (solo trip). My budget is also $1,200 so I’m not too worried on cost, but just wanted to know which hotel would be better to access all the things on the strip!
If you're a foodie like me or just looking to try something new, I put together a guide on some of the best food trucks around Las Vegas, based on local recommendations and reviews.
If you’ve tried any of these or have your own favorite food trucks, I’d love to hear about them!
Hey all.
I haven't been to Vegas in about 20 years. I'm taking my daughter for her 21st birthday Nov 10-13 (her choice). I had this plan for evenings:
Sun 11/10: Dinner/gifts at hotel, MJ Live
Mon 11/11 (birthday): Party bus
Tues 11/12 Thunder from Down Under
Problem is, I only see one party bus that runs on Monday nights and the reviews suck. I don't want to use them. I don't know what else to do to properly celebrate where it's not just her and I. Any ideas for a great club, or other ideas?? We will be dressed up in a step up from cocktail attire, step down from formal attire.
Also, we're staying in a balcony room at the Sig MGM because she wanted the balcony view. Best ideas for daily food nearby?
Any other suggestions to add to her experience are much appreciated. I just want it to be the best birthday ever for her. Thank you!
Wife and I just rolled into town for the winter, only to find our spot near the airport closed down :(
Where is the good Lamb Rogan Josh and Butter Chicken in this town these days?
Looking for a delicious preferably mom and pop restaurant for Christmas dinner that locals love.
Will be staying in the Las Vegas area and was wondering if anyone knew any recreational shooting spots or if we can just go out in the desert and start shooting with a backdrop. Thanks!
