hi all! i have loved beach combing since i was a little girl and ive only really stuck to north east ohio. what other beaches on lake erie have the best glass?
Ante suggestions for best beaches for shelling on Lake Erie (Ohio). Willing to travel 1 - 1/2 hours outside of Cleveland. I did a lot of shelling in SC and now I want to continue now that I am back home (if possible lol)!
Is there anything like seaweed?
I'll have a few hours to kill near presque isle later this week & I'd like to spend them outside. Are there any especially cool places to hang up a hammock I should try?
The wife (45F) and I (46M) are planning a trip with our dog (6F) through Ohio this summer. We like to hike and see cool stuff, so we're stopping at Serpent Mound and Hocking Hills. We're also thinking about spending a few days on Lake Erie. Could you fine people please recommend your preferred lakeside community with a dog-friendly beach, nearby hiking, and maybe some interesting sites? Thanks!
I'm relatively new to the area and have fallen in love with the Zoar Valley and the shoreline of Lake Erie. Yet, I can't figure out the flow of Cattaraugus Creek? I simply assumed it flowed into Lake Erie, but the flow through Zoar Valley seems the opposite. The dam at Gowanda also seems to support the idea that the creek flows AWAY from the lake.
I'm so confused.
