South of the west end of the toll bridge, they’ve been building something on the lake. They built a cofferdam, and have now filled it in. Curious if anyone knows what it is they’re doing.
Hi neighbors,
I hope this message finds you well! I recently moved from Mississippi to the area to attend dental hygiene school at Concorde Career College, located at 12606 Greenville Ave #130, Dallas, TX 75243. There are requirements that I must complete before graduating and one of them is to see 40 patients in the next 6 months. As I’m new here and don’t know many people yet, I’m reaching out to see if anyone might be interested in scheduling a dental cleaning with me.
The cleaning would have a one time fee of $20. This is a significant discount compared to private offices, where cleanings can cost $150 or more without insurance. Please note that due to school regulations, I can only clean one quadrant per appointment, so you might need up to four appointments to count as my full patient.
If you’d like to book a cleaning, please do so with the understanding that you missing your appointment will result in a zero for me for the day, so your commitment is greatly appreciated. I would also be grateful if you could pass this information along to friends and family who might be interested. I am seeing patients anywhere from the age of 3-60+.
Thank you so much for your support!
Best regards,
Shivangi Patel
Some of these companies charge an extreme amount
I used to swim at Stewart Creek Park Swimming Beach, but I'm moving to Lake Dallas pretty soon. I'll be pretty close to the lake. How likely will I be to die from an alligator or snake or smth from swimming in the area that's near my new place? Are there any (near) specific places I should swim at instead? Also, and recommendations for cliff diving?
I'm between treehouse academy in Corinth and the learning experience in Denton
Treehouse doesn't have as good as reviews as learning experience but when we went there in person it seemed like it was a really really good place It was really good staff but I want to know if anyone has any personal experiences
Thank you
Does any know what happened last night?
It’s no question the Lake Cities have a lot to offer, so let’s get each other in the know! If you’re part of or know about any clubs, sports, chess teams—what have you, share them!
We just bought a new construction in Lake Dallas and will be moving in Feb/March!
Any general things we should know about the area? Shopping and restaurant recommendations? So glad y'all have an Aldi's nearby (I'm gonna miss HEB already, but seems a little too far of a drive from there). I love trying new restaurants, so excited for a whole new batch of places to eat at.
We'll be there this Sunday to try out a new church (Lake Dallas Church of Christ) and just drive around and explore. We're just finishing college in Richardson, so not from too far away. We just have never been to that part of Dallas except to fish at Lewisville Lake (husband's a big fisherman, so excited to be walking distance from fishing).
If you're looking for some family fun nearby this weekend, check out TX-TURE Farm in Aubrey, TX for the Lavender Festival. They'll have booths, live bands, food trucks and their super cute alpacas!!! I'm including a link if you want more info 😊
