Hi, I'm considering Lafayette for ED 2 and have around a day and a half to decide. Can anyone who attends tell me the things they most hate or most love abt Lafayette? So far all I've gotten is that the food is bad but that's so vague. So if anyone attends and is willing to spew some wisdom that'd be lovely. I mainly want stuff related to life. Social scene, parties, diversity, town, dorms stuff like that.

Curious what the experience is like for those who major in biological sciences and the acceptance rate into med schools? I wasn’t sure where Lafayette stands in terms of preparedness and readiness for the MCAT and what not.

I really like their engineering program and I may minor in engineering, but how is their natural sciences program? Especially their physics one.

I'm thinking to go ED2 to Lafayette as I'm really interested in their Engineering robotics program. I wanna go for ed2 to increase my chances as much as possible. Is Lafayette my right choice? If not where should I go for ED2? My top priority is financial aid and a good possibility to get in.

I'm international, 12k efc (maximum).

• 3.85 Unweighted ( I had a drop in 11th (93%) but I explained the reason) • I'm going test optional • DET 125 • I'm working on my essay as much as I can and it's about something really sensitive and meaningful for me. • I got two good LORs, one from astronomy teacher and one from my english mentor. (one of them stated I'm the best they had)

ECs:

1. Exchange student in the USA for a year with a full funded program by US Department of state.
2. English Microscholarship funded by the US Department of state(2 years): intense English classes, leadership training, cultural exchange, debates, community service projects, +50 essays, 4 research papers on enviornment.
3. 300 hours volunteer work: Organized 3 kids’ parties, cleaned three horse farms and 2 elementary schools, repainted 15 crosswalks, and volunteered at 2 elderly homes and more.
4. Internship in a local AI company( programmer assistant): Assisted with coding tasks, bug fixing, and software testing. Helped teach Python to kids, led a group of 25 kids to program and build a car robot.

Hi, Im currently an International student looking to apply need-based financial aid and I was wondering if the school require IDOC on top of CSS profile. I was looking a bit more and there seems to be clashing answers; so, if anyone knows the answer, it would be appreciated if you can tell me.

I got deferred. I have a 93 total average, but I need aid my SAI is 24000. I didn’t submit my sat score because it was below what they were looking for. Do I have a chance with regular admissions?

When will ED decision comee??

I'm curious if anyone has received a full ride to Lafayette College as an international student or knows someone who has. Got a few questions

So i know campus pretty well! But I am not returning to my dorm in south but Mckeen instead . I am excited, but tbh Mckeen is the only freshman dorm building I never went in. Is it good or survivable? I liked South but it was very active lol, I think Mckeen looks nice, just not sure how people who have lived there in the past liked it. any thoughts?
