RATE MY SETUP:

First pole set up I’ve completely designed on my own without advice from coaches/teammates. Chose the Havok because I’d heard it carries a lot of good qualities like being lightweight but is not as stiff as other heads, which is something I’m used to.
I asked for a mid high pocket, with semi soft mesh and 2 shooters. For the shaft, I chose the true comp just because it’s a cheaper alternative to some others I’ve seen and is supposed to be light.

In all, how does this set-up work?
Been playing lacrosse for 3 years, sophomore in high school.

Hey everyone, ever since I started playing my freshman year of high school, I immediately fell in love with this sport. It has given me so much in life and I want to give back to this amazing sport and help grow it and honor the game. I’d love to make a career out of it even if it means having a second career while doing it such as teaching or something else. That doesn’t bother me. My preferred end destination would be at the college level to help make college more affordable for players who may not otherwise attend college.

I am currently 20, and during my freshman year of college, I was able to be an assistant with my high school boys team and make it to every game and most practices since their schedule and my college schedule matched up well. After that I took a gap year because my college team folded and they cut the program. I spent this most recent spring as the head coach of my high schools girls team surprisingly enough due to a lack of interest after the previous coach quit. Now, I’m currently an assistant coach with a local travel team. I am now headed to go play again this fall down at a school in Florida.

My biggest question is how can I further improve my experience while playing in college to help become a better coach down the line?
