Let’s get talking about everything that’s going on in California and draw some liberty-minded folks into the sub. I’m growing very unhappy with the state of CA but maybe we can get some hope in here!
The 2020 Platform Committee is simultaneously considering two different approaches to writing the next version of the platform.
If you have a minor correction or addition to suggest to the LIbertarian Party of California platform, you can send an email to the Subcommittee for Incremental Revision (mailto:lpc-platform-incremental-subcomm@googlegroups.com).
If you would like a more drastic change, such as switching to a copy of the LNC’s platform, contact the Subcommittee for Radical Revision (mailto:lpc-platform-radical-subcomm@googlegroups.com).
Note: messages sent to either group will be open, transparent, and reviewable by anyone at groups.google.com who searches for it, and we cannot guarantee that your suggestions will be incorporated into the final report, as that is a matter of the vote in committee. Please don’t use this as an excuse to harass a subcommittee whose approach you don’t agree with.
If you prefer a different approach which is intermediate between these two extremes, contact your local platform representative about creating an independent proposal.
Lastly, if none of the above options is sufficient, you can send an email to the entire platform committee (mailto:platform@ca.lp.org).
