Hey guys this was done by @rickymartineztattoos in Miami, Florida, I love the way it came out! I did it in black to match the rest of my lord of the rings sleeve, next up is the ring, let me know what you guys think!!!

Balrog upper arm tattoo

Artist & I are at a pause as we can’t decide where to take this. Originally we thought the argonath to the left & right, but the desire for bold color rises. Lower back, a tramp stamp if I may say holds the text of the doors of durin (my hehe funny moment) 
Any colorful ideas? 
One of my legs is ~ nazgul, one ring, Sauron  work in progress so I won’t include those back here

I'm travelling to new zealand and will be getting a souvenir tattoo. I want to get a fern leaf since thats a major symbol of the country, and also my favorite plant, but I'd like to incorporate some subtle detail related to lord of the rings since that's what originally drew me to visit the country. Can anyone recommend something Lotr I could add?

Therefore Morgoth issued forth clad in black armour; and he stood before the King like a tower iron-crowned, and his vast shield, sable unblazoned, cast a shadow over him like a stormcloud. But Fingolfin gleamed beneath it as a star; for his mail was overlaid with silver, and his blue shield was set with crystals; and he drew his sword Ringil, that glittered like ice.

I got this tattoo 3 years ago, and it was my favorite until I got my back tattoo of Ancalagon the Black vs. Eärendil during the War of Wrath (I’ll post it in a few days). It was custom-designed for me and isn’t based on any existing artwork.
