"Since 2008, CUUSOO.com has been partnering with The LEGO Group to create a user innovative design system for people to create and market their own LEGO sets in the Japanese market. This revolutionary business model allowed an amateur user with a passion in deep sea exploration to create the world's first official LEGO set not designed by a professional - the Shinkai 6500." - CUUSOO
LEGO CUUSOO International was introduced in early 2011, so now people all over the world may submit a concept to LEGO Ideas. The LEGO Group will review all projects that reach 10,000 supporters. If an idea passes review it may be chosen for production. So far there have been six models produced:
21100 - Shinkai 6500
21101 - Hayabusa
21102 - Minecraft
21103 - Back to the Future
21104 - Mars Curiosity Rover
21108 - Ghostbusters
On April 30th, the LEGO Group announced that the partnership with CUUSOO Systems has ended and has launched LEGO Ideas to replace it.

To continue interest and drive more votes (2472, but need 10k), I've added a new version of the Racing Sausages to my design. It's based on the Brick Headz theme of Lego products. Maybe people will like this version better and also maybe Lego would be more interested in making this a real product with this version. If you haven't voted yet, please do so at Lego Ideas - Famous Racing Sausage. Also leave a comment on which version you like best. Thanks!
I really like the Lego Ideas program and have spent many hours in Studio trying to design things but I was wondering if there are other programs similar but meant for smaller builds. I build a lot of builds that would fit in say Lego City and other similar themes but I don't think that they fit the theme that Lego Ideas is going for. They are also not the types of builds that would get the 10000 vites needed. I still want to share them with people but I don't know how to. Any ideas (excuse the pun)?
