Department shut down, looking for a new position quickly!

The company I was working for as a Client Coordinator (mostly administration and clerical work, office managing, and taking on work as an assistant directly under the VP) is shutting down my department temporarily, but unfortunately I just can’t afford to be without work for that amount of time for them to call me again.

I’m looking for something at least $20 per hour and full time to match what I was making before. I live in the Culver City area and am willing to travel at least 40 minutes. I have a BA and an MA, have experience in management, customer service, clerical, etc. I also have quite a bit of entertainment industry experience. Great with Microsoft as a whole and extremely quick to pick up new software. The last software introduced I was able to master in less than a day.

If you have any leads, or you’re hiring, let me know! I’d love to talk!

Looking for a Job! Morning-to Afternoon/Early Evening jobs! Open to most Jobs, near NELA area

I have no prior experience except working in a college program that assists in carrying out presentations for helping the community and providing support to other students who want to learn about college and the application process as well as financial aid. I also worked at a place called CENTRO DEL PUEBLO, which helped organize events and have young kids participate in recreational events. This was for a few months but I’m very adaptable and can be a quick learner for anything

I have a knack for art and making my own stories on the side, I don’t have an official portfolio but I can show off some art if needed :)

I can go as far as Pasadena or Glendale, perhaps a little farther

Has anyone heard of Golden Ark Systems?

Is anyone familiar with this company? I applied to a couple of their open positions last week and received a call today to set up an interview, but I'm a little hesitant about it as I can't find much information about them online. I checked the county secretary website and although they do seem to be a legitimate business, they only filed with the county a few months ago. I'm desperate for a job and I would really hate to pass this up if it's a legitimate opportunity, so any input is appreciated!

Tower Mobility

I was hired by these guys 3 months ago. They said they needed to add me to their insurance (it's a driving job) and I waited and called and waited and called and nobody would talk to me. I quit a job the day I trained for them. I haven't done a job search since I've been waiting. Finally an HR email I contacted (after badgering them for three weeks) said I'd been terminated with no explanation. They're still hiring on all their websites. Has anyone else had this problem? Seems like some sort of employment scam. Is there a world where they have to keep a certain amount of employees on the books, but can't afford them all? Or am I victim of some sort of paperwork snafu? Your thoughts are appreciated. Thanks for reading.
