I am an atheist whose mother passed away back at the beginning of May. I have been struggling to cope with the loss. I was looking for a support group in the area that’s non religious. I tried google but didn’t get many leads. Anyone know of any non religious grief support groups?
Hey all. I’m new to the area. Wondering what the best grocery delivery is in kzoo (also new to grocery delivery). I live near downtown in the vine area. Thank you!

I love your 🪧!
Thanks, my dad loves rap. This is my daughters best friend’s parents house. After hearing about the sign here and seeing it in person. I’m a happy clam now.
Did anyone do the full contact experience at Nightmare Realm last year? The actors are allowed to touch you. I’m really curious about how scary it actually is. They are doing it again next weekend and I would really like to go.
Does anyone have a good dentist that bills Delta Dental or do they all require payment up front now? Thank you!
I have a date planned for next week and I’m kinda struggling to figure something out. Could be either in Kalamazoo or portage, but leaning towards portage. Thank you to anyone who can help!
…if a bit dirty, but she’s home with food and already acting much better aside from the death glare she’s giving me as I interrupt her meal. Thank you all so much for your help! Your tips and tricks helped us coax her home.
Specifically, looking for information on the school district and library board member candidates. r/grandrapids published such a nice one for Kent County two years ago.
Hey all - T.J. from Wax Wings here. Our friend and resident musician, Adam, asked if we would be willing to host his pirate singalong event at our pub. The rest is history.
Please join us and Adam on Sunday, October 27 from 3pm-6pm for an experience like no other. We encourage participation from the peanut gallery as well. Adam is a great entertainer and we know he will make it a fun event for everyone involved.

My wife and I loved Gonzos. Everything about was a vibe for us. Is there a spot in Kalamazoo that is comparable?
Where’s the best place locally to buy firewood? I’m not in a position to where it makes sense for me to cut my own. I feel like there’s gotta be better price/value than Meijer for a warm fire on a cold fall night.
I'm moving to Kalamazoo next week (Michigan native, have lived in west Michigan before).
It occurred to me that there might be a market for minor mending services -- things like replacing or repairing broken zippers; sewing on buttons fixing tears with patches or embroidery; hemming dresses, pants or skirts; fixing split seams; etc.
Prices for these services tend to be in the $10-$25 range, my research shows.
What's in your closet that needs some kind of small fix to return it to usefulness?
I've never seen 'em. Supposed to be good tonight. I'm willing to chill a couple of hours if the place is safe and comfy. Ideas?
Would like it to be a legit spa with massage, facial, etc. but also offer fake nails or gel-x extensions, if possible! Thanks!

I'm still not entirely certain if this passed final approval or if it is slated for final approval on the 15th, but it looks like the County Board voted to increase their pay by 79.9%. There's an MLive article that probably clarifies more on that, but it's paywalled. Below is a link form WWMT that offers some non paywalled info.
