Hello, i'm looking for an advice in terms of ESC. I want to use Optima Mid 60th on vintage racing so i'm looking for compatible ESC. According to the manual ESC should be 29mm height max. I've checked XeRun XR10 Justock G3S and it's height is 32.1mm. It will not fit? Or fit will be tight? Can someone suggest any other brushless sensored ESC for Optima Mid 60th? Hobbywing also introduced XeRun XR10 Pro G3 with 30.3mm but it still not in the stores i guess.
I’m fixing my dads old kyosho nitro rc car and I can get it running when I pump fuel directly into the carburetor but it’ll die soon after because no fuel is getting sucked up from the tank, I tried sucking the fuel manually which worked so I don’t think anything is plugging the fuel filter, can anyone help me, thanks
Hey team !
I was given a Kyosho Inferno Neo 2.0 and I'm restoring it :)
The original carb has sort of given out and I wanted to replace it with and original part... But no luck finding one.
So I was wandering if any of you guys know of an aftermarket carb that I could slap on there ?
Thinking of selling my RC car stuff from the 80s. How much is it worth? (Estimate without pics? I will post here again once I have them.)
In good condition, comes with kyosho field bag, extra rims, pinion gears, futaba pistol grip radio, extra shell.
Hey all, looking to offload my NIB optima mid. Looking at $360 + shipping. Please PM me if interested. Based in the US.
Thanks
Hey y'all I'm planning out a build using the fw06 nitro Touring Car kit using a bitty designs body. However I've run into an issue with measurements for both parts. The body shell I wanna use is specced at 190mm wide and I can't budge on using a different body. But the fw06 is set at 200mm wide. Does anyone know if a 190mm body would fit/work on the fw06 platform. Or does anyone know of a nitro onroad platform that is 190mm wide that I can use instead of the fw06.
Hello. I bought kyosho krg331 receiver with built in gyro and it doesn't do any gyro... I've read thru instructions. Turned it on and off gain setting etc but It won't work. Another guy said he had the same issue but he got it to work but doesn't remember how just said it wasn't enabled. Any ideas?? Thanks!!
This was given to me by my dad a few years back recently continued building it and tried to look up some info on it but can’t seem to find a thing. I’ve seen a silver model online but nothing about this specific sonax tabac model anyone with a little bit of insight on this would be greatly appreciated I.e. production year, rarity, value?
I recently took apart the diff on this nitro buggy I got used to grease the bevel gear and add diff oil. I felt like everything went into place the right way and ran fine for a couple bash sessions but now I lost all power to the back and see that the drive gear and the bevel/diff gear is completely stripped to the point they don’t really connect. I bought replacements already but I’m stuck wondering what I did wrong? Any one that has familiarity with these I’d appreciate some advice on preventing this
Hey all! I ordered the MK2 chassis kit and realized It is the short Wheelbase FZ02, but I ordered the Chevelle body which needs the long wheelbase FZ02L. Are these the only parts I need to convert to long wheelbase? I didn't want a rtr.. Thanks in advance!
I'm looking at using the new Optima Mid or Turbo body for an old school Maxxum-FF from the late 80's - mainly due to it having the masks and stickers - and the only thing missing is the lexan chassis protector that originally came with the Maxxum.
Does anything like that still exist?
Homemade track $45. Racing with the kids priceless.
Does anyone know where I can get parts for an old kyosho nitro engine? I think its a gs11 from the Peugeot 405.
Theres no light but the steering moves abit when i plug the battery at first
Hello, back in year 2000/01 kyosho made cars that were packed in a cylindrical packing. I used to call them can cars . Does anyone actually know what they were called they were very similar to mini z series. However, their motors could be easily removed from under the chassis without removing the body shell.
