"All Apologies" cover spotted in the trailer for movie adaptation of a William S. Burroughs novel 💔

I know Cobain collaborated with Burroughs on "The Priest They Called Him" via phone/mail, and afterward met in person only once prior to his death.

I thought it was a neat choice to include a Nirvana cover in the trailer for this 2024 movie.

Just re-read "Rebel Girl," by Kathleen Hannah.

It's HER version of Kurt Cobain's demise. Kinda nice to hear about 90s punk and Seattle from a woman's point of view, yeah?

It's amazing how different people react to the addiction/mental health crises of others. Some people are drawn close, but many of them stay away. Like every good friend you've had suddenly is gone. I'll let you decide which type of friend Kathleen was to Kurt. This is a collection of stories about Kurt that goes through past his end.

what was Kurt's opinion on "America" and other 70s bands like them ?

He was a huge Beatles fan, and America was pretty much a spiritual successor to them, even being produced by George Martin. despite having multiple hits they never really become mainstream or overfill commercialized, something I think Kurt wouldn't have minded

Proof of Kurt’s comment regarding NIN.

Hello, I’m looking for proof Kurt said he liked NIN debut album pretty hate machine but wished there were less synths. Does anyone know if there is reputable proof of him stating this? I searched Google but came up empty handed. Thanks

Did Kurt trapped and killed a cat in 1981 as it's said in HTH

I've been reading Heavier than Heaven and while I was at it I read that Kurt killed his neighbor's cat by trapping him in his parent's chimney and laughed while he watched the animal die. I've always saw Kurt as a cat lover so this shocked me. I googled it and it there's countless articles saying that it was a lie. Is it true or is it fake?

what were Kurt's favorite Nirvana songs?

I know one of them was Dumb, but I'm wondering if there was any others that were his favorites or that he liked a lot. Let me know!
